Construction And Empirical Study On Evaluation Index System Of Patent Financing Capability Of High-tech Enterprises

One important constraint to the performance of high-tech enterprises' patent commercialization is the lack of capital.Making full use of the resource characteristics of high-tech enterprises(especially small and medium-sized enterprises)to expand financing channels is an optional strategy to resolve the bottleneck of capital.Obviously,the new type of patent financing is an important tool for high-tech enterprises.Based on the relationship between patent and financing,this paper analyzed the status quo and characteristics of patent pledge financing in Hubei,Guangdong,Henan,Beijing,Guangxi and other places from the practice,combed the shortcomings of the existing literature from the theory,summarized the three factors that affect the patent financing capability.Through the combination of theory and practice,after comparing and analyzing the differences between individual patent and patent portfolio,a series of patent portfolio financing capability evaluation indicators are initially proposed.Using factor analysis method,these indicators are screened and classified,and a set of patent financing capability evaluation index system for high-tech enterprise is constructed,which consists of 5 first-level indicators and 13 second-level indicators to explain the key factors affecting patent financing capability.Taking a company in reality as a sample company,and the three types of financing capability of the company's single-type single patent,single-type patent portfolio and different types of patent portfolio were measured,then the results show that the competitive power of patent technology is the core factor of patent financing capability.The main findings are drawn and the suggestion are posed which improve the performance evaluation index system,be good at using the patent portfolio method and characteristics to carry out strategic layout,accurately judge and optimize patent assets.
