With the development of the market economy,the competition among enterprises is more of competition for talents,and many enterprises face the problem about how to keep employees.“Job Embeddedness” explains the reason that employees choose to stay in the organization from a new perspective,and strengthens the study about the antecedent variables of job embeddedness,which can help employers keep employees better.However,the research on job embeddedness mainly focuses on the relationship between job embeddedness and turnover intention,and the research on the antecedent variables of job embeddedness is relatively lacking,few research has studied the influence about the contexts of organization on job embeddedness,they have overlooked the notion that employees' different personalities may have different effects on job embeddedness.Gratitude,as a positive personality trait,is of great influence on individual behavior.Evidence from past research has shown that employee gratitude significantly influences loyalty and belongings to the organization,so it is of great importance to study the relationship between gratitude and job embeddedness.Foreign studies on gratitude focus on the influence of gratitude on pro-organizational behavior.Domestic studies on gratitude mainly focus on the fields of psychology and pedagogy and few researches focuses on the phenomenon of gratitude in organizations so far.From the perspective of positive psychology,this paper introduces gratitude into the field of organizational management,discusses the influence of knowledgeable employees' gratitude on job embeddedness in the context of China,and makes up for the gaps in previous research.This paper takes knowledgeable employees as the research object and uses questionnaires to study the relationship between knowledgeable employees' gratitude and job embeddedness and the mechanism behind them in the context of China.Based on the 232 questionnaires collected,relevant analysis and regression analysis were carried out through SPSS 17.0,and the following conclusions were drawn:(1)employee gratitude has a significant positive impact on positive emotions and job embeddedness;(2)positive emotion mediates the relationship between employee gratitude and job embeddedness partially;(3)organizational identification moderates the relationship between employee gratitude and positive emotions,that is,the higher the organizational identification of employees,with grateful employees experience more positive emotions,and thus strengthen the relationship between employee gratitude and positive emotion.Finally,based on the empirical research results of this paper,it provides corresponding suggestions for enterprise management practice and points out the shortcomings and future research directions of this paper.
