With the increasingly fierce competition among enterprises,how to survive and develop in this complex and competitive environment is a huge challenge for every manager.In particular,the cycle of technological transformation is getting shorter and shorter,and the speed of product update is getting faster and faster.Competition between enterprises is dependent on the company's R&D capabilities and creativity.These capabilities depend on which company has more talents.Talent is the most critical strategic resource for enterprise development.The company who owns talents can win the competition between creativity.This is the long-term advantage of company.Improve the effectiveness of R&D personnel recruitment can help enterprises employ excellent R&D talents,and ultimately help enterprises to achieve competitive advantage.In order to improve the recruitment effect,the company must fully understand the ability of the R&D personnel requirements firstly.Competency Model is a good tool for people's ability and quality research.Its effectiveness has been quite extensive.It can help companies to know what abilities are the competency need for R&D,and at the same time can help identify high-performing and low-performing candidates.This research constructs a Competency Model of R&D personnel through questionnaire survey.Then this Competency Model is applied to the recruitment of R&D personnel,the recruitment process,recruitment tools and interviews were optimized.The research found that the Competency Model of N company includes: Customer orientation,help others,innovation,initiative,communication and persuasion,ability to build harmonious relationship,self-management,self-confidence,teamwork,professional knowledge/skills.Based on the competency model,we developed recruitment process and specific recruitment methods for N company.Then we furtherly developed a structured interview questions and evaluation criteria.
