With the development of economic globalization,China's petrochemical industry is developing rapidly.At the same time,petrochemical construction engineering as the basis of the industry,has played an increasingly important role.However,in the actual construction process,it will be affected by many factors,affecting the normal and sustainable development of oil exploitation,refining and transportation operations.A high degree of attention to quality and widespread concern is a significant feature of the petrochemical construction industry.The engineering quality of petrochemical industry is not only related to the applicability of the project,but also related to the safety of people's lives and property and the survival and development of enterprises.Therefore,the study of how to use advanced quality management and control methods to ensure the quality of engineering projects has important practical significance.Firstly,this paper studies the important theory of quality management,including the tools and methods of quality control,the seven main methods of quality control and the continuous improvement of PDCA cycle.Then it identifies and evaluates the quality management factors of D Petrochemical Construction and Safety Project,and analyses and evaluates the five first-level control factors of 4M1 E quality management,i.e.human,machine,material,method and ring,and the basis of several second-level control factors,and finds out the quality management factors that need to be controlled emphatically.During the implementation of D Petrochemical Construction and Safety Project,two outstanding quality problems,the control of non-conformity items and the first pass rate of field welding quality,were analyzed,the causes of quality problems were analyzed,and the corrective measures were put forward.At the same time,the corrective effect was verified by PDCA cycle.In order to verify whether the management at all levels correctly fulfill their quality management responsibilities,the subcontractors' performance of quality management responsibilities needs to be strengthened through the analysis and evaluation of the quality management optimization evaluation model,and the improvement and optimization strategy is put forward.Through implementing various measures of project quality management,the quality management of D Petrochemical Construction and Security Project is reliable and smooth.
