These days,career management has been widely used around the world,and provides powerful human resources to maintain many companies' sustained competitive power.Although JL Company has great technical superiority,the traditional personnel management method has hindered the further development of the company.This thesis will analyze the related career management patterns of employees such as positions and titles,optimize the evaluation system,identify categories and layers of positions and titles.Based on these,then we use Career anchors theory and career management theory to construct a new career development system for JL Company.By reviewing current research situation both at home and abroad,starting from analyzing JL Company's current career development system,this thesis proposed this company's main problem on position category,position layer and employees' development pathway,and provides a base for constructing new career development system.By constructing new career development system,designing career development pathway and position requirement,this thesis gradually constructs JL Company's career development system.This thesis also divides JL company employees' development pathway into five areas: career manager,engineering,marketing trade,professional management and skilled craftsman.Based on marketing trade employees' difference,we divide marketing trade into marketing and purchasing.Based on engineering employees' difference,we divide engineering into research and development,craftwork and supporting technology.According to JL company employees' development pathway variation,this thesis divides each pathway into five layers,and each layer has two ranks,so each pathway has 10 ranks.Based on core values,ability & behavior,basic conditions and contribution & performance,this thesis also constructs position requirement for each rank.A clear and executable position requirement ensures proper evaluation of position development,shows that “ability related ranking” is the core value of position development.
