Position rank management is the most fundamental thing in the management of human resource,but it is the connection of the management.Design an effective and scientific position rank system is the important support of a high qualified and competitive employee team.It can motivate employees' enthusiasm and creativity to enhance the human resource competitiveness to face a changing and challenging business battlefield,it has practical meaning to any company.With the introduction of current position rank situation of M company,this paper clarifies its position rank needs by comparing with and analyzing a benchmark company in experience,strategy target,enterprise culture,employees'information and etc..Then,by introducing the basic positions rank system information,basic procedure and design principle of M company,the paper elaborates how its position rank system was designed,emphasizes the establishment of post instructions,position system and rank system.The new position rank system contains some basic position rank elements like post group,position category and position rank.At the end,in order to make it a complete and practical system to take it into practice,this paper proposes some practice methods in qualification requirements and rank system certification.The design and real use of position rank system consolidates the basis of human resource management of M company,which provides achievable possibility of employees' career development as well as its expedition.Thus,this paper has a vital practical meaning in motivating employees' enthusiasm and creativity,human resource allocation optimization,and the on-going healthy development of M company.
