Research On Wuhan Strategic Emerging Industry Selection Based On Regional Innovation System

Although the world economy is still in a period of deep adjustment,major developed countries and emerging economies have fought fiercely around fostering the development of strategic emerging industries and occupying the commanding heights of economic and technological future.As China's economy is getting bigger and bigger,its position on the world stage is becoming more and more important.The United States has also paid more and more attention to China's growth and has frequently provoked trade wars.Under the current background of China-US trade frictions,China's vigorous development of strategic emerging industries is becoming more and more important.In order to meet the challenges brought by the United States,we must adhere to the innovation-driven strategy,take the road of independent innovation,and accelerate Technological innovation and technological advancement to avoid being technically subject to people.The "Decision of the State Council on Accelerating the Cultivation and Development of Strategic Emerging Industries" issued by the State Council in 2010 pointed out that strategic emerging industries are based on major technological breakthroughs and major development needs,and have a major tie-setting effect on economic and social overall and long-term development.As an industry with intensive knowledge and technology,low consumption of material resources,great growth potential and good comprehensive benefits,it will take seven industries including energy conservation and environmental protection,new generation information technology,biology,high-end equipment manufacturing,new energy,new materials and new energy vehicles.The industries that focus on cultivating and developing have pointed out the direction for the development of strategic emerging industries in various regions.When General Secretary Xi Jinping came to Hubei in 2018,he emphasized that he hoped that Hubei would shape more leading developments that rely on innovation and more on the first-mover advantage.As the capital city of Hubei Province,Wuhan City has taken on an arduous task in shaping the leading development of Hubei.The development of strategic emerging industries is the breakthrough and key link to achieve leading development.Wuhan City has strong educational and scientific research advantages,strong industrial base advantages,convenient transportation location advantages and good institutional environment advantages.Based on its own characteristics,Wuhan City proposes to be bigger and stronger with information technology,life health and intelligent manufacturing as the representative strategy.Sexual emerging industries will promote the transformation and upgrading of industrial structure and achieve high-quality economic development.Based on the regional innovation system,this paper studies the current innovation main body and innovation environment in Wuhan,and then selects the number of enterprises,employees,total output value,added value,and R&D activity enterprises in 18 industries including equipment manufacturing and metal smelting in 2017.10 indicators including R&D personnel total,R&D expenditure internal expenditure,new product development expenditure,new product sales income,and patent application number,and empirical research on the development of strategic emerging industries in Wuhan,using the entropy method The industry scores,and then combines Wuhan's current information technology,life health and intelligent manufacturing industry goals to make a detailed analysis of Wuhan's strategic emerging industries.
