In the 21st century,modern logistics industry,driven by many factors such as economic development and policy dividends,has become a pillar industry of the region and even the national economy.At the same time,as the“third profit source”and the acceleration for economic development,the logistics efficiency improvement is very significant for improving the efficiency of social circulation,reducing costs and increasing efficiency of logistics industry,and promoting the quality and efficiency of the national economy.Taking the relationship between the agglomeration of logistics industry and efficiency as a perspective,based on the theories of logistics industry agglomeration,logistics efficiency and externality,firstly,based on the analysis of the status quo of the logistics industry development in the Central Plains City Group,using the improved location entropy to measure the clustering degree,and using the DEA-BCC model and DEA-Malmquist index model to analyze the logistics efficiency from both static and dynamic perspectives comprehensively;secondly,analyzing the internal mechanism of logistics industry agglomeration and logistics efficiency by the System Dynamics Model,building a spatial Dubin model that integrates the economic spatial distance matrix to study the direct effect and spillover effects of logistics agglomeration on the level of logistics efficiency within the central cities of the Central City Cluster and between cities;Finally,the paper proposes a logistics efficiency improvement path and countermeasures for the Central Plains City Group based on the agglomeration of logistics industry.The main conclusions of this study were:In terms of logistics industry agglomeration:the logistics agglomeration was generally low,with the passage of time,the level of logistics agglomeration of each region was diverging,and the“Matthew effect”of inter-regional logistics agglomeration was gradually emerging,which showed that the high-level region gathered in the northeast of city group,while the low-level region continuously moved to the southeastern of city group,the two major convergence clubs of logistics industry agglomeration in northeast and southeast have gradually formed.In terms of logistics efficiency:Based on the static perspective,logistics efficiency was gradually on the rise,which was mainly due to the improvement of pure technical efficiency,the high level of logistics efficiency gradually shifted from the southeastern part to the northeastern part,the logistics efficiency of various regions gradually converged,and the gap in logistics efficiency between regions continued to shrink;?2?Based on the dynamic development perspective,the total factor productivity showed a trend of declining volatility,from a regional perspective,the average level of total factor productivity in the southwestern of Shandong and southern Hebei was relatively high,and the growth rate was relatively fast,in the growth source of total factor productivity,all cities and regions had consistency,that mainly from the contribution of logistics technology efficiency;?3?From the perspective of spatial evolution and spatial difference of logistics efficiency,after ten year's development,global Moran's I value of logistics efficiency had a“W”-type decline trend,the spatial autocorrelation and agglomeration characteristics of logistics efficieny were in process of weakening,but the spatial heterogeneity of logistics efficiency was enhanced.The logistics agglomeration had a direct impetus and a spatial spillover effect to the improvement of logistics efficiency,and there was a nonlinear“U”relationship between the two,economic development had a positive effect on logistics efficiency,but for neighboring cities,there was a"siphon effect",the utilization rate of logistics resources had a positive effect on the improvement of local logistics efficiency,and had no significant negative spillover effect on surrounding cities,the industrial structure led by the three industries not only restricted the logistics efficiency of the region,but also had significant negative spillover effects on the surrounding areas,the promotion of logistics efficiency by logistics information technology,human capital and urbanization had not been released.Finally,combining the results of the research,based on the problems existing in the logistics industry clustering and logistics efficiency improvement,designing three paths of logistics industry cluster,the logistics industry cooperation and the symbiosis of logistics industry to promote logistics efficiency,and proposing corresponding countermeasures for each path.
