Research On The Economic Transformation And Revitalization Of Border Ethnic Villages

The border ethnic villages as a frontier area of China's opening to the outside world,its revitalization is conducive to ensuring border stability and promoting regional coordinated development.In the four decades of Reform and Opening,the economy of China's border ethnic village has undergone great changes.In the implementation of the strategy of "rural revitalization",these border ethnic villages have another opportunity for development.Faced with these development opportunities,how can border ethnic villages to achieve the revitalization? Economy as a rural blood-activating agent is the core of rural revitalization.As a result,economic transformation is crucial to the revitalization of ethnic villages in the border.Jing,as one of China's ethnic groups with small populations,the settlement "Jing three island" is located in Guangxi region of China.The three islands of Jing nationality is a typical ethnic village in the border area adjacent to Vietnam.,through economic transformation,it has not only realized economic prosperity,but also has significant effect on rural construction,and has been rated as a demonstration unit for community building for many times.So,this paper will base on the theories of the industrial structure,boundary effect and geo-economics,take the "three islands of the Jing nationality" in Guangxi as the research object and adopt the methods of field survey,questionnaire survey and comparative method to understand and analyze the economic transformation process and rural development.Firstly,this paper distinguishes the concepts of "economic transformation" and "the revitalization of border ethnic villages" and clarifies the content of economic transformation and stipulates the areas referred to by the border area.Based on this,the paper discusses the economic transformation process of the "three islands of the Jing nationality",and considers that the economic transformation process can be divided into four stages: subsistence,reclaim land from the sea,capital accumulation and industrial upgrading.At the same time,the characteristics of rural development in each stage are described in detail,and the results of economic transformation are evaluated.And then,this paper further analyzes the causes of its economic transformation and summarizes the problems existing in the economic transformation of the "three islands of the Jing nationality".Finally,according the disadvantages,put forward the corresponding suggestions for its revitalization,including maintaining the Marine ecological environment to increase fishery resources,taking the Marine fishery demonstration area with characteristics as the guide to build the characteristic industry of the mariculture on a large scale,promoting the golden beach international tourism island project to expand the consumption market of fishery products,increasing investment and properly tilting the relatively backward villages,improving tourism and rural planning,clarifying the management boundaries of administrative unit,integrating collective land and providing related supporting services,giving play to the positive role of kinship and exploring new ways to integrate into the cross-border industry.Based on this,some inspirations of border ethnic villages to realize revitalization through economic transformation are obtained.
