In the current era,the world economy is developing towards globalization, and the role of standards in international trade is becoming more and more important.Standards have penetrated into all aspects of international trade, and governments have increasingly paid more attention to the impact of standards on trade. In recent years,China's textile standardization level has been greatly improved, which has greatly promoted the development of textile trade, but there is still a big gap with developed countries. This gap is the main reason for restricting China's export trade to developed countries. It also makes China not able to use standards to maximize trade protection, unlike developed countries.Because standards play an important role in international trade, the active use of standards has become an important strategy in international trade. For example, some developed countries are actively adopting a standardization strategy to participate in the formulation and publication of standards in international markets so that standards can reflect their own interests. In theory, standards mainly have two effects on international trade. On the one hand, standards have become a means of promoting international trade, and have played a facilitating role in the world trade pattern, promoting the development of China's textile export trade;Standards have also had a negative impact on international trade, which has hindered the export of China's textile trade to a certain extent. Therefore, the relationship between research standards and China's textile export trade, actively play the role of standards in promoting textile trade, avoiding the negative effects of standards on China's textile trade, and contributing to the development of China's textile export trade, has important theoretical significance and practice. This thesis mainly uses the gravity model to analyze the impact of standards on textile export trade.Based on the theory, using the panel data of China's textile exports in 2003-2017,this thesis selected the major exporters of China's textile exports, using the extended gravity model to study standards for China. The main findings of this thesis, the standard has a positive effect on China's textile export trade;from the perspective of different countries of export, the impact of standards on China's export trade is also positive, among which, for developing countries, the impact is stronger than that of developed countries. From the perspective of importing countries, the technological level of developed countries is relatively high, and their technical regulations and standards are relatively high.It takes more time for China to achieve the standards. The standards of the developing countries are relatively loose, and their technical regulations and standards are more easily overcome by trading partners.Under this circumstance,China does not need to formulate standards,so that domestic products can reach the importing country,so that when the importing country is a developing country, the standard has a stronger impact on textile export trade.
