Company P is a large Original Equipment Manufacture factory,it get an order to product CO sensor instrument by the European customer,and the customer required that the instrument must tested by the CO gas.It is known to all that the CO gas is flammable and explosive,and the risk of the toxic and tasteless,there is a huge risk in using the CO gas.There are some differences between the electronic industry project and traditional project,such as the characteristics of short time limit and more changes,so we need use project risk management method to identify and analyze project risks,formulate measures for control of high risk,to ensure the project smooth implementation.The situation of the construction project of the CO test room: the site selection problem and the CO flammable and explosive danger,combined with the scope of application of the project risk assessment method,the analytic hierarchy process and the fault tree are used to analyze and evaluate the risk of the project.According to the results of the Expert Scoring Method set up the judgment matrix,which passed the consistency test,and due to the calculation results,the project site should be located in the factory by the weights of the three schemes.Fault tree analysis is used to analyse the CO gas explosion risk,through the analysis of quantitative and qualitative can get CO gas explosion's fault tree and occurrence probability,in accordance with the important degree and its analysis of the basic affairs in the Fault tree,and then the effective preventing measures were formulated based on the main causes of falut.Finally,the selected methods can identify and analyze all kinds of risks of the project,and to evaluate the possibility and severity of the risks.Besides that,it provide scientific basis for high executives to decision-making.It shows that analytic hierarchy process and fault tree analysis still applicability in the electronics industry of project risk management,and hoped that the paper has the reference significance for the project risk managers of the electronic industry.
