In recent years,highly pathogenic avian influenza has caused significant economic losses to the poultry industry.Epidemiological investigations have found that the live poultry market is an important distribution center for poultry epidemics.It is a future to promote the centralized slaughter of poultry and the replacement of live poultry with cold fresh poultry.A major trend is that more and more retail companies are joining the competition in the cold fresh poultry market.In addition to the quality,taste and price competition of retail products,retail companies are paying more and more attention to service competition.In order to provide customers with cold fresh poultry at any time,enterprises must ensure sufficient supply of goods at any time,but the shelf life of cold fresh poultry is short,and a large number of stocks are likely to cause expired goods and heavy losses,and corporate profits cannot be guaranteed.The paper takes A company's cold fresh poultry order management as the research object,and focuses on the optimization of cold fresh poultry order management.The paper analyzes the status quo of A company's cold fresh poultry order management,and finds that the company's cold fresh poultry order management has problems such as low gross profit margin,unstable sales and poor working efficiency.And furthermore analyze the reasons for its problems,such as inaccurate orders,nonstandard order management,and process rigidity and so on.Based on the analysis of the problems and causes of the cold fresh poultry order management of Company A,the paper uses the demand management theory and forecasting method to optimize the design,and improves A company's cold fresh poultry order management by implementing weekly orders,constructing the order model,and optimizing the distribution process.Finally,the paper evaluates the effectiveness of order management optimization,using quantitative analysis from indicators such as gross profit margin,sales volume,and safety stock,and qualitative analysis from two aspects of operational capability and working efficiency improvement.Company A's cold fresh poultry order management has improved significantly creating from larger gross profit margin,higher sales volume,better customer service purchase experience and greater working efficiency.The research results of this paper provide reference for the management and optimization of cold fresh poultry sales of the same type of enterprises in China.
