As the largest and only provincial special economic zone in China,Hainan Province is located in the important area of the “Pan Pearl River Delta”.It plays an important role in driving the economic development of the surrounding areas, and its economic development has always been the focus of government attention.Since the establishment of the special economic zone,it has played a major role in the economic development of Hainan Province and promoted the development of the economy of Hainan Province by leaps and bounds. However, while the overall economic development is improving, there are also problems such as uncoordinated regional economic development and unreasonable industrial structure.A reasonable industrial structure is the driving force for regional economic development. Therefore,it is an important task to further study the adjustment of industrial structure in Hainan Province.Based on the previous literature research on the adjustment of industrial structure in Hainan Province, most scholars focused more on the adjustment of the three industrial structures.but paid less attention to the development of specific industry sectors in industrial development, let alone the discussion on industrial linkage and spatial pattern. The focus of this paper is to analyze the industrial spatial pattern among the east, middle and west regions on the basis of analyzing the industrial linkage of Hainan Province, and finally provides programs and suggestions for realizing the industrial structure adjustment of Hainan Province, thereby promoting economic development. The main research contents are as follow: First, using the input-output model to analyze the industrial linkage of Hainan Province, and the leading industries of Hainan Province. And secondly, using the location entropy method to study the respective advantages of the three regions of Hainan Province in the east, middle and west from the spatial pattern. Finally, based on the above results, the impact of economic linkage degree on the spatial pattern is quantitatively analyzed. From the above analysis, the following research results are obtained: From theperspective of industrial linkage, the leading industries in Hainan Province are high-tech industries and energy industries.Judging from the analysis of dominant industries, the dominant industries in the eastern region are concentrated in modern service industries, the central region is agriculture, forestry, animal husbandry and fishery, and the western region is mining industry. From the perspective of economic linkage degree,in general, economic linkage degree has increased year by year, but the western and eastern central regions are still not close enough.Based on the above research results, combined with Hainan's economic policies and location and resource endowment conditions, this paper draws the following industrial structure adjustment plan:(1)On the whole,Hainan should give priority to the development of high-tech industries.(2)By region, the eastern region takes tourism as the leader to drive the development of modern service industries, the central region develops leisure agriculture, and the western region develops energy-related industries.(3)Give play to the joint action of advantageous industries in various regions. On this basis, this paper puts forward the following suggestions for the future industrial development of Hainan Province:(1)Formulate talent attraction policies for high-tech enterprises and strengthen the government's economic investment in high-tech industries.(2)Carry out industrial planning by region and develop advantageous industries according to local conditions.(3)Improve the transportation infrastructure in Hainan Province, and provide the basis and conditions for enhancing the linkage effect of advantageous industries in various regions.
