As a large East-Asian country with a long history and colorful culture,China has a profound cultural foundation.Since the 18th national congress of the communist party of China,Chinese leaders have repeatedly proposed to strengthen China's "cultural confidence".In the context of economic globalization, cultural trade occupies a growing share in global trade. At the same time, for a particular economy, the proportion of cultural industry is increasing in all its industries and is increasingly valued by policy makers around the world. With the advance of the anti-globalization trend, the negotiation process of China-Japan-ROK Free Trade Area has been significantly accelerated. The China-Japan-ROK FTA is also one of the FTA negotiations that China has participated in with the largest volume and highest proportion of foreign trade. In this scenario, tariffs and other trade barriers between China,Japan and South Korea, three northeast Asian countries, will be removed, which will greatly promote the development of trade in northeast Asia,Therefore,it is of great practical significance to study the mechanism of cultural trade between China,Japan and South Korea affecting the regional economy in the era of trade protectionism. The research object of this paper is the impact of cultural trade between China,Japan and South Korea on the regional economy of this region, and how to further utilize cultural trade to promote the economic development of northeast Asia in the future. The innovation of this paper lies in the empirical research on the impact of the development of cultural trade on the economy of northeast Asia based on the data disclosed by the World Bank,UNCTAD and UNESCO.Based on the annual data of China,Japan and the ROK from 1997 to 2018,this study makes an empirical analysis on the relationship between cultural trade development and economic growth in Northeast-Asia and the mechanism of cultural trade on economic growth. The results show that cultural trade development has played an important role in promoting the economic growth of China,Japan and South Korea. In addition, human capital stock, capital inflow scale and other factors affect the growth effect of cultural trade. To complete the above research, this paper will be divided into five parts. The main contents of each chapter are as follows:In the first chapter, there is a brief introduction of the whole research, which summarizes he content the research, also gives definitions to the relevant concepts, and reviews the relevant research at home and abroad, and expounds the innovation of this research. The second chapter summarizes the economic and trade development of China.Japan and South Korea in recent years. The third chapter makes a qualitative analysis of the development status of cultural trade among China,Japan and South Korea,so as to understand the basis of cultural trade cooperation among China,Japan and South Korea, and pave the way for the empirical analysis in the following part. The fourth chapter selects the annual data of the world bank and UNESCO of China,Japan and the ROK from 1997 to 2018 to make an empirical analysis on the mechanism of cultural trade on economic growth, and concludes that the cultural trade between China,Japan and the ROK will have a significant positive impact on the regional economy. The fifth chapter puts forward some problems in our country's cultural trade at the present stage and puts forward some solutions.
