Entrepreneurship activities can bring new driving forces to the country's economic development, while creating many job opportunities, and alleviating employment pressure in China.Under the call of "mass entrepreneurship, innovation by all people",various types of entrepreneurial activities have sprung up,husband and wife entrepreneurs, grassroots entrepreneurs...While the entrepreneurial activities are booming, the failure of entrepreneurial activities is a common phenomenon.Current entrepreneurial research focuses more on what factors will promote entrepreneurial success and how to avoid entrepreneurial failure, and there is little research on whether entrepreneurs will have the willingness to re-enter the business after the entrepreneurial failure. Therefore,it is particularly important to study the factors that influence entrepreneurs to re-enter the business after the failure of entrepreneurship.Based on the attribution theory and social identity theory, this article focuses on the following issues:(1)How does the different dimensions of entrepreneurial failure attribution affect the willingness to re-enterprise;(2)entrepreneurial identity after entrepreneurial failure attribution of entrepreneurial failure What role does the relationship between different dimensions and willingness to re-start a business play. This article provides theoretical guidance and practical reference on how to properly attribute attributions to entrepreneurial failures and enhance the willingness to follow-up entrepreneurship from a cognitive perspective. The entrepreneurial event theory believes that only when the entrepreneurial event satisfies the entrepreneur's sense of desirability and feasibility at the same time, the entrepreneur will have the willingness to continue the business.Considering that entrepreneur identity can reflect the entrepreneur's perception of his entrepreneurial ability, and this perception can affect the two dimensions of re-entrepreneurial intention, this article divides entrepreneurial failure attribution into internal and external attribution. In this paper,a theoretical model is constructed for attributing entrepreneurial failure to re-entrepreneurial intention and entrepreneur identity as an mediating variable, and a research hypothesis is proposed.Based on this, this study applyed questionnaire survey as the research method, and took people who have experienced entrepreneurial failures as the research object, and used a combination of online and offline methods to collect data on entrepreneurs across the country, and finally got 175 valid questionnaire. Then use SPSS22.0 and AMOS25.0 to analyze the validity and reliability of the questionnaire and process the data to draw the research conclusions:Internal attribution is negatively related to re-entrepreneurial intention, external attribution is positively related to re-entrepreneurial intention;the identity of entrepreneurs plays an mediating role between the internal attribution of entrepreneurial failure and the re-entrepreneurial intention, and the external attribution of entrepreneurial failure and re-entrepreneurial intention. The possible innovations of this study are as follows:First, this study provides answers from the perspective of entrepreneurs' cognition on the mechanism of entrepreneurial failure attribution affecting re-entrepreneurial intention, and from the perspectives of feasibility and desirability of entrepreneurial intention to analyze;Second, the social identity theory is introduced into entrepreneurship research.By introducing the cognitive variable of entrepreneurial identity, the two types of entrepreneurial cognitive characteristics of entrepreneurial failure attribution and entrepreneurial identity are discussed. The role of re-entrepreneurial intention was analyzed in depth. Finally, this study points out the theoretical significance and practical implications of this study, and puts forward the shortcomings of this study, and looks forward to future research directions.
