The salary system is a tool to improve the level of human resource management,which can supervise,manage and optimize the enterprise human resources.The development of the enterprise is inseparable from a good salary system.Scientific salary system can help improve the work efficiency of employees and enhance their loyalty to the enterprise.A good salary system is the foundation of enterprise human resource management.With the development of economy and society,small and medium-sized catering enterprises are facing increasingly fierce competition.A good salary system is of great significance to improve the competitiveness of enterprises.In this paper,the 4P theory,broadband compensation,demand hierarchy theory,equity theory,expectation theory and other compensation management theories are studied in depth.The company profile,staff status and salary system status of D catering company were investigated in detail.Through the design of reasonable interviews and questionnaires,descriptive statistics and analysis of data.Based on the analysis of the salary system of other catering companies in the same industry and in the same region,this paper analyzes the opinions of employees of D catering company on the current situation of the company's salary system,and identifies the problems existing in the salary system of D catering company:1.Unreasonable salary classification.2.The salary structure design is not scientific.3.Lack of external competitiveness.4.Internal lack of fairness.5.Single salary and welfare.Starting from the above five aspects,the following analysis is made on the causes of the salary system problems of D catering company: 1.Skill job classification is not clear.2.The salary structure does not accord with the company's objective reality.3.Pay is below the industry average.4.The performance appraisal mechanism is not sound.5.Management does not attach much importance to benefits and compensation.Based on the above problems and causes in the compensation system of D catering company,this paper presents an optimization plan for the compensation system of D catering company from five aspects: designing a reasonable broadband salary,improving the salary structure,improving the competitiveness of the salary market,differentiating the performance salary,and diversifying the benefits.Compress pay grade,enlarge pay span at the same time.Improve theoriginal salary structure and increase the non-economic salary.Not only material incentives,but also non-material incentives.By increasing the turnover,reducing the cost,improving the performance coefficient and other ways to improve the salary level of employees,so as to improve the market competitiveness of salary.From the performance and responsibility of the two aspects of performance assessment of employees,through the performance assessment scale to calculate the coefficient of performance pay.Timely benefits should be provided,group activities,individual benefits and non-economic benefits should be increased,and welfare benefits should be diversified in many aspects.It can save the labor cost,improve the efficiency of the compensation system and lay a foundation for the company's industrial competitiveness.
