In the era of rapid urban development in China, many groups are enjoying the fruitful results of urban reform and development. The increase of job opportunities attracts a large number of people to flood into cities, playing an important role in the construction of cities and the development of urban economy. However, for a long time, due to the dual structure of urban and rural areas, the household registration system and other conditions, migrant workers can not really enjoy the same treatment as the original residents, housing security problem is a typical problem that has not been thoroughly solved. The living conditions of some migrant workers are not ideal and their living conditions are not optimistic. They cannot enjoy the same treatment of employment, medical treatment, education and other public services as urban residents.Based on the consideration of the above problems, the author makes a research on the social housing for migrant workers in cities. In the actual operation process, kunshan city is used as the research carrier to evaluate the housing security of migrant workers in kunshan city by designing relevant research methods, evaluation dimensions and evaluation indexes. In order to make a better measurement of residential satisfaction,in the actual research, the author focuses on asking residents'satisfaction in the community environment, property management, policy evaluation, value perception and other aspects. It is found that the migrant workers in kunshan city are generally satisfied with the affordable housing. However, some places are not satisfactory,in order to better improve the living satisfaction of these migrant groups,so that they can feel the fruits of the city's reform and development process. In the future development process, efforts should be made at both the government and the community levels.Only in this way can the rights and interests of migrant workers be better protected and the development of cities with higher quality be promoted.
