Nowadays,the development and improvement of corporate culture is quite important for Multinational Corporates(MNCs).It is a way to unify behaviors,communicate and reduce barriers between the different countries.Besides,it is also a way to reduce the breach between employees from different locations.No matter how hard we try to believe that MNC try to create culture standards from zero,they are all based in their own environment and idiosyncrasy.It is quite understandable that a US company will create a corporate culture based on its values,no matter how much it tries to adapt it to every location.MNC companies have the responsibility to creat a corporate culture of equal environment for their employees,to reduce the breach towards diversity,to establish a system towards developing communication,values and moral rules for an appropriate international working environment.For company A,a well-known MNC,there is still room for imporvement on its corporate culture establishment and development.This thesis tries to analyse the problems and inadequacies of the corporate culuture,and propose the corresponding solutions for company A.The paper first introduces the related concepts and theories of corporate culuture in detail,including the concept of corporate culture,the effect and the role of corporate culture in MNCs,the social identity theory,the hofstede culture dimention,and the model of culture fit.Then,the paper has a comprehensive anlysis on the corporate culture of company A from the perspective of both external analysis and internal analysis,by taking use of PEST and SWOT.Moreover,the paper also takes questionaire survey to discover the problems existed for the copropate culture of company A.According to the analysis,the paper proposes solutions and suggetions for company A to improve the corporate culture.The paper proposes that company A should develop an effective corporate culture for the future,develop new leaders that can well lead and communicate in different environments,develop culture learning,develop the approporiate organizational structure and behaviour to support and assist the improvement of the corporate culture,and should pay special attention on culture initiative.This thesis covers many theories about corporate culture,and an analysis of the countries market,background,environment,social aspects.The main aim of this paper is to show how the differences impact on the notion of a corporate culture,analyse the problems and propose the solutions and suggetions to imporove the coporat culture of company A.This thesis is of great practical siginificance for company A to promote its culture improvement,and it also can provide some guidances and assistances to other companies with similar problems.
