The Practical Mode And Challenge Of Poverty Alleviation Through Science And Technology In Tibet

Poverty is one of the most acute social problems in the world today,and it is also a major issue of people's livelihood that China has always paid attention to.Since the founding of the People's Republic of China,China's poverty alleviation work has gone through five stages: promoting poverty alleviation through institutional reform,large-scale development,tackling poverty,deepening poverty alleviation,and precision poverty alleviation.With an average elevation of 4,000 meters above sea level,Tibet is known as the "roof of the world" and is an important gateway to the southwestern border of China.However,Tibet's poor natural environment,poor infrastructure,shortage of soft resources and unreasonable economic structure make it the only provincial-level contiguous special hardship area.Tibet's unique geographical environment and poverty situation have brought great challenges to the poverty alleviation work in Tibet.In recent years,under the guidance of Xi Jinping's thought of socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era,General Secretary Xi Jinping has carried out the important spirit of speech at the symposium on resolving the outstanding issue of "two worries and three guarantees" and handled the "thirteen pairs of relations" correctly.In accordance with the requirements of the "six precise" work,the "five batch" project has been carried out in depth,and remarkable results have been achieved in poverty alleviation in Tibet.In this paper,the Tibet Region as the research object,first of all,the relevant concepts and theories of poverty alleviation through science and technology are expounded Then the paper analyzes the general pattern of poverty alleviation by science and technology in Tibet and the current situation and challenges of poverty alleviation by science and technology in agricultural and pastoral areas.It is found that the main problems in the work of poverty alleviation in Tibet are the farmers and herdsmen's weak sense of science and technology,the lack of scientific and technological personnel,the lack of funds for poverty alleviation,the imperfect facilities and the religious factors.In view of these problems,based on the experience of poverty alleviation through science and technology in other regions of China,this study discusses the challenges and countermeasures of poverty alleviation through science and technology in Tibet Looking forward to actively exploring,innovating and improving the mechanism of poverty alleviation through science and technology,defining the goals of poverty alleviation through science and technology,expanding the fields of development and strengthening the means of poverty alleviation through science and technology,improving the policies for poverty alleviation,increasing the supervision of the process of poverty alleviation,and fully mobilizing the enthusiasm of the poor households,etc.It provides reference for the practice of poverty alleviation through science and technology in Tibet.
