Petroleum equipment industry is China's strategic basic industry,which plays an important role in supporting the construction of the national energy industry system.With the advent of the era of knowledge economy and global integration,the innovation and development of the petroleum equipment industry is facing higher requirements and greater challenges,and the collaborative innovation model of Industry-University-Research(I-U-R)has gradually become an important promoter of promoting the development of industrial technology innovation.At this stage,with the expansion of the scale of I-U-R cooperation,the collaborative innovation of I-U-R cooperation has gradually shifted from a single linear cooperation to a multiple networked development,but the incomplete functions of the I-U-R cooperation network and the low efficiency of cooperation remain the main constraints on technological innovation.Therefore,combining the specific situation of the petroleum equipment industry,exploring the characteristics,rules and functional utility of the I-U-R cooperation network has both theoretical and practical significance for enriching the research of the I-U-R innovation network and promoting the innovation development of the petroleum equipment industry.From the perspective of patents,this study defined basic concepts such as I-U-R cooperation network in concepts and theories,and sorted out basic theories such as social networks,and based on this,the theoretical model of the relationship between the I-U-R cooperation network and the innovation ability of the enterprise including the network relationship and the network structure was proposed.Secondly,focusing on the petroleum equipment industry,through the quantitative analysis of I-U-R cooperation patents in the field,the characteristics of the cooperation network relationship of petroleum I-U-R cooperation has been studied,and the basic data source for this research has been established.Next,according to the social network theory and method,combined with UCINET network analysis tools,the characteristics of the petroleum equipment industry I-U-R cooperation network structure were constructed and analyzed.Further,the research variables were designed by using the above-mentioned relationship between the I-U-R cooperation network and the structural characteristics analysis to construct a negative binomial regression model of panel data random effects,and the regression analysis of the model was performed using STATA statistical analysis software to verify the validity of the previous theoretical model.Finally,the conclusion of this paper was drawn,and the corresponding countermeasures and suggestions were proposed for the reference to the innovative development of the petroleum equipment industry.The research find that the achievements and scale of the I-U-R cooperation network in the petroleum equipment industry are constantly expanding,showing the characteristics of a smallworld network.Since 2013,network connectivity has gradually improved,entering an accelerate period of knowledge circulation.However,the internal relationship of the cooperative network is developing unbalanced,and the network density continues to decline,and the connection function needs to be improved;With the deepening of the degree and trend of the agglomeration,the network shows a mixed characteristic of non-homogeneous,and the high degree nodes are fighting each other seriously,which is not conducive to information exchange within the industry and collaborative innovation development.In addition,in terms of the impact of the cooperation network on the enterprise's innovation capability,the relationship cycle in the I-U-R cooperation network has a positive impact on the enterprise's innovation capability;The effect of relationship strength on the innovation ability of enterprises is not significant;The scale of nodes in the I-U-R cooperation network has a positive impact on the enterprise's innovation ability,but there is a time limit,which is generally extended to 5 years after the I-U-R cooperation;The node position always has a positive impact on the enterprise's innovation ability.Comprehensive research conclusions,it is recommended to start with optimizing the network environment of I-U-R cooperation on the one hand,and on the other hand to enhance the innovation ability of enterprises,and to promote the scientific and technological innovation of China's petroleum equipment industry.
