A Study On The Demand And Service Supply Of Landless Elderly In "Village Transfer" Community

With the acceleration of urbanization in China,the rate of urbanization is advancing rapidly,and the scale of city is expanding rapidly.Many farmers' collective land is expropriated for national construction.After the land acquisition,the farmers are concentrated in a community,resulting in a new community-"village-turned-urban community" and the new residents-"landless farmers".As a special group of landless farmers,the life style and living environment of the landless elderly have changed after land acquisition.They are faced with the new life demand under the condition of"village to residence",which puts forward new requirements for the urban pension service system.This paper selects Suzhou Industrial Park as the investigation point,and makes an empirical study on the elderly's demand and service for the landless elderly.The needs of the elderly who lost their land mainly include the needs of life security,medical care,emotional care,identity and self realization.The existing pension service supply mainly depends on the government,community,social organization,family and the elderly themselves.They bear different pension functions.Through the comparison of the current situation of the elderly's demands and elderly care services,it is found that there is an imbalance between supply and demand,which is mainly manifested as follows:The contradiction between the diversity of demand content and the limitation of service items?pension demand preference and low adaptability of service projects?high ideal expectation of pension service and low satisfaction of real service supply?the high input of pension service industry and the low consumption of social pension.The main reasons for the imbalance of supply and demand lie in the following aspects:the input link of pension demand-the "transmission failure" of pension demand,the supply link of pension service-the poor interaction and coordination mechanism of multiple subjects,and the output and feedback link of pension service-the lack of supervision,evaluation and feedback afterwards.Therefore,in order to alleviate the imbalance between supply and demand of pension services,we need to build a multi-governance social pension service system.First,we should take the demand of the elderly as the guide to enhance the interaction,exchange and communication between the supply and demand sides;secondly,we should give full play to the advantages of multi-agent cooperation to enhance the supply capacity of pension services;finally,we should establish and develop the post supervision,evaluation and feedback mechanism of pension services,and constantly optimize the supply of pension services.
