Southern Xinjiang is located in the northwest border area of the motherland,the development is relatively backward,the rural family population is large,the economic income is limited,the level of old-age security lags behind,the home care service resources are insufficient,the rural old-age care problem in southern Xinjiang is the current and even in the future for a long time to be solved.This paper conducted a survey on the needs and influencing factors of home care service for the rural elderly in T Township,and put forward some targeted suggestions,which are helpful to promote the development of rural pension service in southern Xinjiang,improve the construction of rural social security system,improve the quality of life of rural elderly groups,and promote the sustainable development of rural pension service in southern Xinjiang.At first,this paper reviews the domestic and foreign research results and progress on the needs of rural elderly home care services,the influencing factors of home care services and the countermeasures of rural elderly to the needs of home care services,and expounds the research content,research methods and possible innovations,thus determining the area and specific content of this study.Secondly,based on the research theme,this paper defines the concepts related to home care,elderly care needs and home care services,and deeply analyzes Maslow’s hierarchy of needs theory,welfare pluralism theory and regional economic unbalanced development theory,so as to provide theoretical support for the following.Thirdly,data collection was completed by means of case interviews and questionnaires.SPSS software was used to test the validity of data,and descriptive statistical analysis was carried out on the personal characteristics,family characteristics,economic factors and home-based care service needs of the rural elderly.The influence of personal characteristics,family characteristics and economic factors on the needs of rural elderly home care service was analyzed by binary Logistic regression.The demand for ageing-in-Place services for the rural elderly is influenced by Physical condition,education level,average monthly income and economic source,and relatively less by gender,age,marital status,number of children,living status and self-care degree.Gender,education level,Physical condition,average monthly income and economic source are the main influencing factors for the demand of daily living services,Physical condition is the main influencing factor for the demand of health care services and s Piritual comfort services,and Physical condition and economic source are the main influencing factors for the demand of leisure and recreation services.The greatest demand for home care services for rural elderly is the demand for daily living services,followed by the demand for health care services,followed by the demand for s Piritual comfort services,and the least demand for leisure and recreation services.Based on the results of empirical analysis,the following countermeasures are proposed:(1)the countermeasures concerning the needs of daily life services,including the establishment of service centers for the elderly in rural areas,the development of volunteer activities for the elderly in rural areas,and the optimization of the rural endowment insurance system;(2)The countermeasures on the aspect of medical care demand,implement the service function of rural family contracted doctors,carry out health knowledge lectures,optimize the rural medical security system;(3)As for the countermeasures of spiritual comfort needs,vigorously promote the culture of filial piety,actively carry out psychological counseling services,and organize holiday condolence activities;(4)Countermeasures for leisure and entertainment needs,speeding up the construction of infrastructure for the elderly in rural areas and organizing public welfare activities;(5)Other countermeasures: accelerate the training of endowment service talents,strengthen the economic support for the elderly in rural areas,establish a time bank mechanism,and develop rural smart endowment services. |
