China is a large agricultural country with a population of 1.4 billion and more than 900 million farmers.It is urgent to develop intelligent and modern new agriculture.Agricultural mechanization is an important part of modern agriculture.As an important commodity grain base,Xing'an agricultural reclamation is featured by a growing number of agricultural machines and an enhancement of agricultural mechanization.However,many problems still remain.To further improve the mechanization of Xing' an's agriculture,this paper examines the advantages and disadvantages in the process of Xing'an's mechanization and its impacts on Xing'an's agricultural production.By collecting data,visiting local farmers,reviewing literature,and applying statistical analyses,this paper studies the status quo and existing problems of Xing'an agricultural reclamation.Our data analysis indicates that,the number of agricultural machines in Xing'an has been increasing;the total horsepower of agricultural machinery has been growing;the level of agricultural machinery operation has reached more than 99%;the structure of agricultural mechanization has been constantly optimized;the level of mechanization service has been improved.Despite these rapid developments,Xing'an's overall agricultural mechanization remains at the medium to low level and structural problems exist.For example,the agricultural machinery operation is not efficient,the configuration of agricultural equipment is suboptimal,some machines are outdated,agricultural workforce downsizes,people with machine operation expertise are lacking,and agricultural acreage shrinks.To conclude,we point out that agricultural mechanization helps improve agricultural production efficiency,reduce the losses caused by natural disasters,increase the per unit yield of crops,improve farmers' income,and enhance the sustainable development of agriculture.
