Study On The Efficiency Of Rural Land Circulation In Guangling County,Shanxi Province

The efficiency of rural land transfer refers to whether the growth of agricultural production,the increase of farmers’ income,the acceleration of mass production of machinery and the effective use of rural land resources can be achieved during the process of the rural land transfer.In recent years,the scale of rural land transfer in China has been on the rise,but from the current situation,the efficiency of rural land transfer is not high,which has not substantially improved the increase in agricultural production and farmers’income.Guangling County lying in Datong City of Shanxi Province that is a purely agricultural county with few resources is one of the ten poverty-stricken counties in Shanxi province.The analysis of the efficiency of rural land transfer in Guangling County,Datong City,Shanxi Province not only is helpful to the formulation and improvement of rural land transfer policies in Guangling County,but also can help to guide the adjustment of the input-output structure of the rural land.Besides,it is also beneficial to promote local economic development and increase farmers’ income.Based on literature review and theoretical research,this paper has applied data envelopment analysis(DEA)to calculate the efficiency of rural land transfer in Guangling County,Datong City,Shanxi Province.Firstly,an evaluation index system is established and the efficiency of rural land transfer is studied from two aspects:the efficiency of increasing agricultural production and the efficiency of increasing farmers’ income.Secondly,based on the specific index data and measurement method,the paper makes an empirical analysis on the efficiency of rural land transfer in Guangling County,Datong City,Shanxi Province.In this paper,the VRS model with variable returns to scale is selected to calculate the efficiency value.Based on relevant data of Guangling Gounty,Datong City,Shanxi Province from 2014 to 2018,the results of efficiency change are obtained.According to the analysis after research,the efficiency of rural land transfer in Guangling County,Datong City,Shanxi Province shows an increasing trend,but the efficiency is still low.Besides,the efficiency of increasing farmers’ income is lower than that of increasing agricultural production,which indicates that the development is unbalanced,and there are many unreasonable problems in the investment structure of rural land transfer.Finally,according to the conclusion of the analysis,suggestions are provided for improving the efficiency of rural land transfer in Guangling County,Datong City,Shanxi Province in order to assist the local economic development,promote the local economic development and increase farmers’ income.
