As a new innovation paradigm,collaborative innovation has great advantages in integrating complementary resources across disciplines,departments,and regions,promoting in-depth cooperation and collaborative development among innovation bodies.With the deepening of scientific and technological reforms and the accelerated transformation of technological achievements,industries have shown complex and multilevel interactive characteristics.For the purpose of achieving innovation-driven regional development,it is crucial to strengthen the integration of industry and technology as well as to promote collaborative innovation.Therefore,it is of great significance to study the impact mechanism of inter-industry technology relatedness and regional collaborative innovation for industrial upgrading and regional coordinated development.This paper builds an industrial space based on corporate registration data using the coexistence method.Then,it analyzes the structural characteristics of China's industrial space and the evolution of regional industrial technology from a complex network perspective.After that,based on the industrial space,the regional industrial technology relatedness of China is calculated,the regional collaborative innovation evaluation indicators and relevant control variables are selected,the spatial econometric analysis method and the panel threshold model are used to empirically study the impact of industrial technology relatedness on regional collaborative innovation,and policy recommendations are made based on the results.The main research contents and conclusions of this article are as follows:(1)Statistical analysis in the spatial structure of industrial technology relatedness from a network perspective.Based on China's enterprise registration data,this paper constructs an industrial space,realizing the visualization of network space structure,then studies the characteristics of China's industrial space structure and its regional evolution.The results show that China's industrial space presents "core-edge" and "boot-type" characteristics,with manufacturing as the core cluster and most other industries are on the edge;below the industrial space is a large group of companies with manufacturing as the core;at the top right is the small group with industries as its core,concerning information transmission,software and information technology services.Then,in order to study the regional industrial structure characteristics and technological relatedness evolution,this paper uses the cross-sectional data at different time points to compare the time series and regional differences of the industrial spatial network structure in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei and Yangtze River Delta regions.The results show that the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei and Yangtze River Delta regions present a trend of complementary regional industries and coordinated development.(2)Empirical research on the effect of industrial technology relatedness on regional collaborative innovation.Based on the panel data of 30 provinces in China from 2001 to 2016,this paper analyzes the global and local spatial autoregressive characteristics of industrial technology relatedness and regional collaborative innovation capability.In this paper,a spatial econometric model is established to explore the direct impact and the spatial spillover effect of industrial technology relatedness on the inter provincial collaborative innovation capability.Then,this paper constructs a panel threshold model to explore the complex non-linear impact of industrial technology relatedness on regional collaborative innovation with knowledge absorption capacity as the threshold variable.The results show that the degree of industrial technology relatedness has a direct promotion effect on the improvement of collaborative innovation capability in the region.There is also a significant spatial spillover of industrial technology relatedness,which promotes cross-regional industrial collaborative innovation.In addition,there are obvious industrial differences in the effect of technological linkage on regional collaborative innovation.The influence of China's industrial technology relatedness on regional innovation capacity has a non-linear characteristic with knowledge absorptive capacity as a double threshold.With the improvement of knowledge absorption capacity,the significance of industrial technology relatedness in promoting regional innovation capacity is increasing.
