In 21 th century,China has become the biggest country of equipment manufacturingindustry in the world.The development of is related to national economy and national defense construction.Stacker reclaimer(s product in this paper,the same below)as a part of the field of construction machinery,provides vitality for the development of manufacturing industry.Now the competition in S product industry is increasingly fierce.Customers' selection criteria for enterprises in this field are gradually diversified and specialized from the simple choice of brand or price in the past,to customer service experience,customized,cost-effective products,after-sales service system and other diversified factors.Facing the fierce competition of products,the design cycle of products becomes shorter and shorter.Therefore,the design institute of company D urgently needs to improve the existing management system to shorten the design cycle of S products.Therefore,this thesis focuses on the design cycle improvement of the most representative S product project of company D,and draws lessons from project management,organization management,process management,knowledge management and other related theories,combined with the actual situation of company D.Firstly,it introduces the existing work flow of company D design institute,and focuses on the problems existing in the S product project of company D based on the project management process.It analyzes the problems by combining theory with demonstration,and finally aims at the key problems the corresponding optimization scheme is put forward.By analyzing the key path,improving the organizational structure and improving the design process,the design cycle of S product is optimized.At the same time,this thesis puts forward safeguard measures to improve the level of knowledge management and improve the design system,so that the existing standardized,modular and general content of the enterprise can be better developed.This thesis strives to provide technical and method support for the smooth development and benefit promotion of S product design,and provide important theoretical basis and practical experience for product design cycle improvement.To meet the needs of company D to improve its operation level in the new competitive environment.Through the combination of theory and practice,to provide a more reasonable,professional and scientific management framework for the new design cycle,to provide a new perspective for the overall improvement of management level,further help enterprises and customers to achieve mutualbenefit,so as to improve the operation level of enterprises.At the same time,I also hope to provide ideas for the optimization of process management for the design department in the heavy industry and provide help for the "national heavy equipment".
