In recent years, with the continuous acceleration of China's industrialization, urbanization and agricultural modernization, cities have attracted more and more young labor force to work in cities, which has alleviated the contradiction of many rural areas with more people and less land, and solved the problem of excessive local population bearing too much pressure on the land.Meanwhile, with the deepening of rural reform in China, local governments are also actively responding to the national call to carry out a lot of land transfer practices, which provide a foundation for the realization of land scale, specialization and intensification. However, since China's dual household registration system in urban and rural areas, social security system in rural areas and market norms of farmland transfer are not perfect enough, labor force transfer makes it difficult for many farmers to realize citizenization in a real sense. At the same time, due to the excessive loss of labor force,a lot of land in rural areas, especially in mountainous areas, has been left idle, farmland transfer has not been realized synchronously, and land disputes caused by irregular transfer have occurred.Wuling Mountain area is located in the southwest mountainous area. For a long time, the economic development has been slow, which is closely related to the backward agricultural production methods and low labor productivity in this area. Therefore, the living conditions of farmers have not been substantially improved. The agricultural geography of this place is already at a disadvantage. The land slopes greatly. Therefore, the double contradictions of large population and small land, large outflow of population and unfavorable transfer conditions of rural land are increasingly prominent. To solve this problem,it is necessary to correctly guide the efficient and orderly transfer of rural surplus labor in mountainous areas to achieve the optimal allocation of land and labor resources.Currently in view of many scholars in research on the relationship between labor transfer and agricultural land circulation the conclusion is not consistent and most scholars only research labor transfer to the overall impact of farmland circulation, and transfer-out and transfer-in are not considered separately. Moreover, wuling Mountain area is more necessary to study because of its special geographical characteristics. Therefore,by studying the influence of rural labor transfer in Wuling Mountain area on the behavior, scale and performance of agricultural land transfer, the influence mechanism is found, and policy Suggestions are put forward to provide reference basis for actively promoting and realizing the transfer of rural labor force to cities and different industries in China. In particular,it has good practical significance for the future agricultural economic construction in the vast mountainous areas in southwest China and makes the process of farmland transfer smoother. In view of the current problems in Wuling Mountain area, this paper firstly reviews some research progress and famous theories related to rural labor force transfer and farmland transfer, defines the core concept of this paper, and discusses and analyzes the interaction between labor force transfer and farmland transfer. Then, taking 563 peasant households in Wuling Mountain area as the research object, this paper analyzes the current situation of rural labor force transfer and farmland transfer in the research area, and conducts an empirical study on the impact of labor force transfer in Wuling Mountain area on farmland transfer by means of regression analysis and indicator system construction from the perspective of peasant households. The influences of labor force transfer on farmland-transferring behavior, scale and performance of farmland-transferring were studied respectively.Binary Logit model,single-limit Tobit model, range standardization method,AHP method and multiple linear regression method were adopted. Finally, the following main conclusions were drawn:(1)About 40% of the farmers in the research area choose to go out for work.Among them, men, young adults, junior middle school education and below are the main groups, and nearly 70% of them are perennial migrants and prefer to work outside the province.(2)The research area has a high level of farmland transfer, with more than three quarters of farmers participating in farmland transfer.Among them, the farmland transfer-out behavior is slightly more than that of farmland transfer-in behavior, which is basically the same.(3)Labor force transfer will have an impact on the farmland transfer behavior, and the more the number of family farmers and part-time workers, the more the farmland transfer-in behavior and the less the farmland transfer-out behavior;(4)Labor transfer is beneficial to both the scale of farmland transfer-out and the scale of farmland transfer-in.Labor transfer can promote farmland transfer and expand farmland transfer scale.(5)Rural labor transfer can promote the performance of land transfer-out and land transfer-in;However,the existence of part-time employment greatly reduces the performance of transfer-out,but has no significant influence on transfer-in performance.
