In October 2019,China Mobile and China Unicom officially announced the commercialization of 5G.The commercialization of 5G technology has made people’s lives more convenient,and it has also brought huge business opportunities for the entire communications industry,especially the comprehensive construction of 5G base stations.Kaipu has promoted the construction of its supply-side iron towers,and provided important development opportunities for the base station contractor,the Iron Tower Company.However,due to the combination of external and internal reasons,many private tower companies are coming in at the end of 4G,and the low base price and high investment of 4G have made all private tower companies discourage.So far,many private tower companies Negative development attitudes such as maintaining a wait-and-see attitude of investment and proactively seeking annexation have become increasingly apparent.Based on this,this research takes A Private Tower Company as an example.Through systematic research,it aims to put forward more scientific development suggestions for many private tower companies in the bottleneck period of development.Based on the development strategy theory and the operation strategy theory,this paper analyzes the macro environment of the political,economic,social and technical aspects of the private tower industry by applying the PEST model,followed by the development status and development of the private tower industry.The trends,industry barriers,and the status of A’s private tower company’s business,resources,and competitors are systematically explained.Through the SWOT analysis of A private iron tower company,it is found that A company should combine WO strategy and SO strategy,and prefer to formulate the development strategy according to the communication development outline set by the information department under the state council during the 13 th five-year plan period.Based on the previous analysis,the author proposed three major development strategies for Company A: competition and cooperation strategy,diversification strategy,and differentiation strategy.At the same time,in order to truly implement the company’s development strategy,the author also strengthened the company’s financial management and deepened manpower.Corresponding safeguard measures have been proposed in six aspects: resource guarantee,promotion of marketing capabilities,enhancement of technological innovation level,strengthening of human resources construction and corporate culture construction.
