Since the 1980 s,China’s software outsourcing industry has transited from an acceleration period to a balanced period after nearly 30 years development.We can see from a report of China Software Outsourcing Service Market Survey and Development Trend Analysis issued by China Industry Research Network,more than 60% of China’s offshore IT outsourcing is for Japanese software outsourcing services,and wins with low cost and low profit rate.Thanks to the appreciation of RMB,the increase of domestic labour cost and other disadvantages,the good points of labour cost are declining.As one of the largest software outsourcing service providers in China,X Company has paid attention to the transformation strategy of "stabilizing the downstream","basing on the midstream",and "developing the upstream".And the design and development of MES has attracted the attention of X Company.This dissertation adopts the method of case analysis.Firstly,it summarizes the development background,project organization structure and personnel,development process and project management status of a MES project in X Company.Secondly,according to the basic conception of project management and the knowledge system of software project management,it studies and analyses the problems of project quality,schedule and cost in the process of project development as well as puts emphasis on the controllability of MES project demand change,the rationality of resource allocation and the accuracy of time estimation.Finally,combining the practical situation of the project,it proposes three main improvement schemes(the optimization of project organizational structure,the optimization of project schedule management and the optimization of project human resources management),which promote the optimization of MES project management of X Company positively.The significance of this dissertation is that we can better control the risks,reduce the costs,improve the quality and ensure the progress for all of projects,especially in the face of more emerging development technologies and more complex business knowledge.Thus,it can help enterprises to further establish themselves in the field of Japanese outsourcing which has become intensely competitive year by year.
