In modern society,the electronic products have played an important role in our lives,and electronic products must have the power supplies.In particular,switching power supplies with light weight,small size,and high efficiency have become more and more demanding in various types of switching power supplies in recent years.Increased demand has promoted the rapid development of the power industry,and it has also brought great competitiveness to the enterprises.Therefore,in order to grow steadily and rapidly,the enterprises must have a complete development system for the project of switching power supplies.Nowadays,many switching power supply companies have mainly focused on technology,quality and cost in the early stage of the project.But it isn't enough for the scope management of switching power supply projects.Finally,it leads to some product development projects seriously exceeding the progress and expectations of the project,and even losing control.How to ensure that the switching power supply product project can grasp the project scope management in the early stage,collect the needs of the project in depth,define the requirements and scope to make the project strictly and effectively controlled in the process and complete the quality on time.The problems that manufacturers face urgently need to solve.Therefore,the project scope management of switching power supply products is the prerequisite for the successful completion of the project,and it is also the guarantee for the smooth development of the project.Based on the project scope management theory and method,this article briefly introduces the design process of switching power supply products and the status of project scope management.it also makes in-depth research the issues on project scope management and design of switching power supply products.On the one hand,the switching power supply project lacks the standard project scope planning and scope definition.On the other hand,there are defects and unreasonable in the WBS design of the switching power supply product design project.At the same time,the switching power supply product project did not update the WBS and confirm the project owner during the process of implementing the demand change on time.In addition,the scope of the project could not be effectively controlled and many project scopes were spread and frequently reworked during the project.Such problems eventually lead to delays in project schedules and cost overruns.Finally,taking the actual research and development project of M company's switching power supply products as a case,it analyzes the problems existing in the project scope management and the causes of the problems.Propose corresponding countermeasures and specific measures to effectively solve and optimize the problems encountered in the project scope management process.The determination and stability of the scope of the project were ensured,and the project of the switching power supplyproduct was smoothly carried out,which improved the product quality and customer satisfaction.The innovation of this article is to research the actual case of project scope management of induction switching power supply product development,and propose practical solutions in combination with the theory,in order to form a set of management strategies for switching power supply product development projects that other enterprises or other fields can learn from.The shortcoming is that in terms of foreign data and professional knowledge and research capabilities,further in-depth exploration is needed to improve the project scope management of switching power supply product development.
