In recent years,although various experts or scholars have made great achievements in the research on the transformation of resource-exhausted cities,the transformation of resource-exhausted cities is still a worldwide problem.As the international situation is complex and volatile,the domestic core contradiction has been transformed into the contradiction between the ever-growing needs of the people for a better life and unbalanced and inadequate development,and China actively promotes the supply-side structural reform in order to achieve innovation-driven development in all fields and enhance the vitality of economic development.In particular,the concept of "ecology,low-carbon,green and sustainable" is highlighted,which not only provides new opportunities to solve local environmental problems,but also provides new ideas to solve the transformation of resource-exhausted cities.Therefore,the research on ecological transformation of resource-exhausted cities under this background has both new connotation and great theoretical and practical significance,which accelerates the transformation development of resource-exhausted cities to a qualitative leap.First of all,on the basis of reading a large number of references,this paper expounds the background and significance of the topic,sorts out relevant domestic and foreign research reviews of resource-exhausted cities,and summarizes the research ideas and innovation points of the topic.Second,this article defines some related concepts,such as resource-based city,resource-exhausted city,supply side structural reform and ecological transformation.It also summarizes the related theoretical basis,such as hypothesis of resource curse,life cycle theory,sustainable development theory and ecological city theory,which have important guidance and reference for the research of this topic.Then,under the background of supply-side structural reform,this paper further studies the status quo and problems of the ecological transformation of resource-exhausted cities,and analyzes the mechanism of the supply-side structural reform affecting the ecological transformation of resource-exhausted cities.Then,from the five dimensions of resource conservation,economic sustainability,social harmony,environmental friendliness and innovation leading,this paper constructs an evaluationindex system for the effect of ecological transformation of resource-exhausted cities,and a comprehensive evaluation model based on improved TOPSIS is constructed through the combination of ahp and entropy weight method.Then,this article quantitatively analyzes the twenty-four resource-exhausted cities transformation effect in combination with the twenty-four resource-exhausted cities index data from 2011 to 2016,and the results of this research find that the transformation of resource-exhausted cities which adjust measures to local conditions development has achieved good results,but there are regional differences.On the whole,the resource-exhausted cities in northeast region and western region have poor transformation effects.Moreover,restricted by geographical conditions and local economic development level,the ecological transformation effect is favorable to regions with high population concentration and high economic development level.Finally,in the context of supply-side structural reform,the improvement strategy of ecological transformation effect of resource-exhausted cities is put forward from five levels,in order to provide an effective solution for accelerating the transformation of resource-exhausted cities to ecological transformation and promote the transformation of resource-exhausted cities to the sustainable development direction of "resource conservation,economic sustainability,social harmony,environmental friendliness and innovation leading",and finally realize the ecological transformation of resource-exhausted cities.
