As a concentrated expression of the contemporary pillar industry,the world's top 500 enterprises represent the development trend of the global economy and the adjustment of the industrial structure to a large extent,reflecting the growth and decline of economic power between countries.This paper attempts to use the world's top 500 as the entry point,using the cross-section data and time series data of the 1996 Fortune Global 500 in 1996,with the global market economy as the background.In-depth analysis of the evolution of the industrial structure of the contemporary economy and the adjustment process.Provide reference for the adjustment of industrial structure of various countries.Forming an international industrial structure with the core of division of labor and cooperation in the global sphere,and promoting the national economy and the global economy by leaps and bounds.First of all,this paper conducts industry segmentation and country segmentation for the ranking of the world's top 500 companies from 1996 to 2016.Then,with the time series as the axis,the characteristics and regularity of the structural evolution time of the secondary industry and the tertiary industry are deeply analyzed.Secondly,MapGIS software is used to display the spatial distribution characteristics,focusing on the spatial distribution characteristics of manufacturing structure evolution and the spatial distribution characteristics of service industry structure evolution,and the deep reasons behind the evolution.The study found:(1)At present,the tertiary industry in the world's top 500 has become the leading industry in the world's economic development,the secondary industry is still the pillar industry of the economy,the manufacturing industry has shown signs of recovery,and the service trend is increasingly obvious.(2)In the developing countries,the developed countries are shrinking,the service industry has gradually become the dominant force in the economic growth of developed countries,and the relationship between the service industry and the manufacturing industry has become closer and more interactive.
