In the current situation of fierce competition in banking industry,employee performance appraisal is not only a means for commercial banks to evaluate the performance of employees,but also a human resource basis for banks to gain competitive advantage.In recent years,the Xi'an Branch of ZX Bank has improved the management of employee performance appraisal to a certain extent,but there are still some problems.Especially the problems existing in the performance appraisal system of the company's business customer managers lead to the low enthusiasm of employees and serious brain drain.In this context,in order to promote the development of various types of customer business in Xi'an Branch,it is of practical significance to study and improve the performance appraisal system of customer managers in Xi'an Branch.Based on the theory of Key Performance Indicators(KPI),this thesis studies the performance appraisal system of customer managers in Xi'an Branch by means of questionnaires,fishbone charts and analytic hierarchy process.The purpose is to improve the performance of employees and improve the efficiency of bank management.The logical idea of this thesis is to find out the problems existing in the current performance appraisal system of customer managers in Xi'an Branch Company by analyzing and summarizing the results of the questionnaire,and then improve each problem.Moreover,for the sake of the integrity of the performance appraisal system,it also makes corresponding adjustments to other relevant contents of the system,such as the appraisal cycle.The main conclusions are as follows:(1)At present,there are some problems in the performance appraisal system of business customer managers of Xi'an Branch,such as unreasonable design of appraisal indicators,unscientific allocation of index weights,and lack of grading appraisal of customer managers.The causes include the impact of management system and lack of effective communication.(2)The improved assessment indicators are classified into three categories,which include 25 indicators such as "average daily deposit balance" and "pre-paid economic profit".The weight of each index is determined by calculation.At the same time,on the basis of stipulating the numerical requirements of the relevant indicators of different levels of customer managers,the grading assessment method is put forward.In addition,the assessment cycle and subject have been adjusted accordingly.(3)In order to implement the new performance appraisal system smoothly,other supporting measures are also needed,including good publicity,cultivation of assessment culture and accurate assessment data.
