With the development of technology and the fierce competition in the market,the working environment is full of uncertainty and complexity.Enterprises are faced with a highly changing market environment,and employees are faced with diverse and high-intensity work stress.So work stress is a hot topic in today's society.Excessive work stress may cause physical and psychological harm to employees,reduce work enthusiasm and work efficiency,and harm employee's creativity,thus affecting organizational performance;but zero stress is difficult to become a realistic working condition,and even if it is true,zero stress will also make employees slack,lack of progress and hard work,and ultimately endanger the creativity and organizational performance.Nowadays,the proportion of knowledge workers in enterprises is increasing,while knowledge workers are employees that work with more brains than hands.Therefore,the important source of innovation of enterprises comes from knowledge workers,so the problem of innovation of knowledge workers in stress situations needs to be solved urgently.It is in this context that this study attempts to explain the composition of the work stress of knowledge workers by examining the relationship between the work stress,emotions(attentiveness,anxiety,anger),perceived organizational support for creativity and employee creativity in the context of Chinese culture.It also explores the specific mechanism of emotions between work stress and creativity,and the regulatory effects of perceived organizational support.Through the questionnaire survey of knowledge workers and superiors,this paper obtains relevant research data,and uses SPSS 22.0,PROCESS 2.16.2 and AMOS 21.0 to conduct empirical research and discussion on the questionnaire results,and draws the following main conclusions:1)Inside stress has a significant positive impact on creativity,and outside stress has a significant negative impact on creativity.2)Attentiveness and anxiety play a mediating role in the relationship between inside stress and creativity;anxiety and anger play a mediating role in the relationship between outside stress and creativity.3)Perceived organizational support for creativity modulates between outside stress and employee creativity.Based on the findings of this paper,the author hopes can help companies improve the stress management and emotion management,thereby improving employee creativity and organizational performance.
