The Change Of Cooperative Network Of Key Inventors After Technological M&A And Its Impact On Creativity

In recent years,with the rapid development of science and technology and the continuous emergence of new technologies,the frequency of technology mergers and acquisitions with acquisition as the main purpose has become increasingly high.For merger and acquisition enterprises,the internal key inventors,as the important human and intellectual capital shouldering the innovation output of enterprises,are the key talents to help enterprises effectively improve the innovation performance and competitiveness after technological M&A.As an important carrier for key inventors to give full play to their creativity,cooperative network also determines the success or failure of technology merger and acquisition.Therefore,it is of great significance to explore how the cooperative network of key inventors enterprises will change after the technology merger and how the changing characteristics will affect the creativity of key inventors enterprises.Based on the 224 merger enterprise key inventors as sample,according to the patent information of cooperation,with technology for three years before and after the merger and acquisition window to build its own network cooperation,thus to study the M&A enterprise key inventors cooperation network in technology can happen after the merger,and the variation characteristics will be what kind of impact on key inventors creativity.Firstly,the social network model is used to select the centrality(degree centrality,betweenness centrality,and closeness centrality)and structure holes to analyze the overall trend of cooperative network changes of key inventors in merger and acquisition enterprises after technical merger and acquisition,as well as the reasons for such changes.Secondly,the key inventors technical similarity index is introduced to further explore how different individual attributes of key inventors will affect their cooperative network after technical M&A on the basis of previous analysis.Finally,the analysis of merger and acquisition enterprise key inventors cooperation network how the changes will affect the key inventors after creativity,at the same time will be the key inventors own intellectual range as a moderator variable,discusses the key inventors scope of different knowledge in the collaborative networks features with their own how to adjust the relationship between creativity.The research conclusions obtained in this paper are as follows:(1)with the occurrence of technology M&A,the degree centrality,intermediate centrality and near-centrality of key inventors in M&A enterprises all decrease after the technology M&A,while the number of structure holes increases.(2)the technical similarity between the key inventors personnel and the target enterprise has a significant negative effect on the degree centrality and the intermediate centrality of the key inventors personnel of the merged enterprise after the technology merger,but has no significant effect on their proximity to the centrality;However,it has a significant positive effect on the structure of the key inventors of the acquired enterprise after the technology merger.(3)after technology M&A,the increase of key inventors degree centrality,intermediate centrality and near-centrality will promote the improvement of key inventors creativity,while the increase of key inventors structure hole will significantly reduce the creativity of key inventors.(4)the key research scope of knowledge in key research and development for the cooperation between network changes and its creativity play a significant regulatory role,in particular,the key inventors knowledge scope is significantly negative to adjust the degree of centricity,centricity,and changes close to the central and the relationship between the key inventors creativity,and to play the role of a pure adjustment;The relationship between the structural hole change and the creativity of key inventors was positively moderated and semi-moderated.
