Research On The Evolution And Drivers Of Innovation In The Yangtze River Delta Region Based On The Perspective Of Patent Transfer

With the development of economic globalization and informationization,the links between neighboring regions have become increasingly close,and the collaborative innovation between cities has become the internal driving force of the joint development of regional economy.The content of this paper mainly includes the following three aspects:(1)First,according to the transfer data of patents between cities,descriptive statistical analysis of the Yangtze River Delta 26 cities from 2010 to 2016 regional innovation evolution process,the study found that the Yangtze River Delta region presents the "center-edge" development trend,to Shanghai,Hangzhou,Suzhou,Nanjing and other representatives of the central cities radiation-driven role is obvious,the closer to these centers,the higher the level of patent transfer,while some marginal cities,especially in An Hui Province,An Qing,Wu Hu,Xuan Cheng and other cities,the advantage of catching up is obvious,the level of patent transfer is rapidly increased;(2)Empirical analysis explores the main drivers of regional innovation,and the results show that both full-time equivalent and fixed asset investment of research and development personnel have a significant positive effect on regional innovation,and from the average effect,each of these two variables increases by 1 percentage point.The city's patent transfer level will increase by 1.5 and 0.6,respectively,and by comparing the regression results of non-spatial panel,static panel and dynamic panel,it is found that the use of dynamic space panel model can effectively avoid the overestimation of the results.(3)Then,using the intermediary effect method to further do the mechanism analysis,selected The urban innovation index of Kou Zonglai(2017)and FDI as intermediary variables,the results show that "the improvement of their own innovation ability" and "attracted foreign direct investment" is an important path to influence the process of regional joint innovation.Finally,some suggestions and countermeasures are put forward to help promote the further development of regional innovation.
