Analysis On Wheat Yield Benefit And Improvement Strategy In Jiangsu Province

Wheat is the main food crop in China.The production and supply of wheat are related to the increase of farmers' income,but also to food security.Jiangsu province is one of China's major wheat production provinces,the perennial planting area maintained in more than 2 million hm2,the total output is more than 10 million tons,Jiangsu occupies an important position in China's wheat production.In recent years,with the impact of rising prices and increasing plant costs and natural disasters,the efficiency of wheat production in Jiangsu province has become lower and lower,which has seriously affected the production prospect of Jiangsu wheat.The commodity rate of wheat in Jiangsu province is over 80%in normal years,which is the highest in China.Moreover,Jiangsu has convenient transportation and is located at the junction of the main wheat producing area and main selling area in China.The production status of Jiangsu wheat plays an important role in maintaining the balance between domestic grain supply and demand and stabilizing domestic food security.Therefore,it is of great practical significance to analyze and study the production benefits and synergistic approaches of wheat in Jiangsu province.In this paper,the present situation and benefit of wheat production in Jiangsu province from 2011 to 2018 year were investigated and studied,the main restricting factors affecting the wheat production in Jiangsu province were analyzed,and the reasonable countermeasures to improve the wheat efficiency in Jiangsu province were put forward.The results are as follows:1.From 2013 to 2018,the wheat planting area in Jiangsu Province maintained over 2.33million hm2,and the total output stabilized over 13 million tons.During the period,the main varieties increased from 15 in 2013 to 27 in 2018,and the area of main varieties reached 1.735million hm2 in 2018,accounting for 72.55%of the total area of the province.Among them,the area of medium-gluten varieties continued to expand,reaching 1.015 million hm2 in 2018,while the area of weak-gluten and strong-gluten varieties decreased year by year.2.From 2011 to 2018,the average total output value of wheat in Jiangsu Province was 872.97 yuan/667m2,the average total cost was 785.9 yuan/667m2,and the average net profit was 86.18 yuan.The highest annual net profit was 253.38 yuan/667m2 in 2014,and it is losses in 2016 and 2018 was negative,respectively,-115.57 yuan/667m2 and-30.77 yuan/667m2 loss.3.From 2013 to 2018,the average wheat yield per 667m2 in Jiangsu was 364.64 kg/667m2,the highest was in 2014(379.33 kg/667m2)and the lowest was in 2016(348.38 kg/667m2);the interregional wheat yield in southern Jiangsu(331.82 kg/667m2)was lower than that in northern Jiangsu(383.72 kg/667m2)and in central Jiangsu(387.51 kg/667m2).4.From 2013 to 2018,the average price of wheat in Jiangsu Province was 2.14 yuan/kg,which was lower than the national minimum protection price every year.In 2014,the highest price of wheat was 2.328 yuan/kg because of its good quality and quality.In 2016,the lowest price was 1.873 yuan/kg because of its poor quality and quality.The countermeasures to increase the efficiency of wheat production in Jiangsu were put forward:we should increase the cost of science and research,breeding and popularizing good varieties,improving the yield and quality of wheat in Jiangsu;seed should be sowed in proper time and quantity,to improve the quality of wheat sowing in order to achieve high and stable yield;establishing a high-quality wheat industry alliance to promote links between production and marketing.
