Research On The Evaluation Of The Quality And Efficiency Of Foreign Investment

Comprehensively improving the quality and efficiency of economic growth is the core task of the new normal economy.Such a background also puts forward new requirements for the quality and efficiency of foreign investment.Although the total amount of foreign capital attracted by our country is very high,there is still much room for improvement in the quality and efficiency of foreign capital development.Therefore,how to construct a reasonable evaluation index system of foreign capital quality and efficiency,and what method to use to evaluate and calculate it is a common concern of the academic circles and industry.By combing and summarizing the relevant literature on FDI research at home and abroad,it is found that most of the existing literature studies the impact of FDI on the economic,social and other aspects of the host country from the macro level,but less on the quality and foreign capital of different regions from the meso level.In addition,the existing literature on FDI quality evaluation usually selects more conventional indicators to build an evaluation system,which cannot reflect the new requirements for foreign investment quality and efficiency in the new era.Therefore,based on the existing theoretical research results,this paper initially constructed a foreign investment quality and efficiency evaluation index system.By convening expert demonstration meetings and issuing questionnaires,we collected the suggestions of foreign experts in the indicator system,and on this basis,the indicator system was modified and improved to ensure the rationality of the indicator system and the availability of indicator data.Acquired,and measured the importance of various indicators.Then,this paper uses the combination weighting method to determine the index weights,and simultaneously uses the comprehensive index method and the approaching ideal solution method to evaluate and calculate the quality and efficiency of foreign capital in each city of Jiangsu Province.By comparing and analyzing the evaluation results of the two methods,it is found that the difference between the evaluation rankings calculated by the two methods is very small.This shows that the evaluation results are stable,and to a certain extent,the effectiveness of the evaluation method and the rationality of the evaluation index system.Finally,this article analyzes the quality and efficiency of foreign investment in various cities in Jiangsu Province from five dimensions of economic benefits and social benefits,summarizes the advantages and disadvantages of each city in using foreign capital,and provides some targeted guidance suggestions,Provides guidance and direction for the high-quality development of foreign capital in Jiangsu Province.
