Travel behaviors of East Asian international students at California State University, Long Beach

Abstract/Summary:
The purpose of this study was to investigate the travel behaviors of East Asian (Hong Kong, Japan, Korea, and Taiwan) international students at California State University, Long Beach (CSULB).; A total of 66 usable surveys were obtained. Chi-square, One-way analysis of variance (ANOVA), and Independent Samples t-tests revealed significant differences between students' travel characteristics and nationality, gender, age, class standing, and length of stay in the United States. The results of this study may be helpful for those seeking to provide travel services for the international student travel market.
