Abstract/Summary:
Education is constantly changing as new innovations in instruction are developed. Many quality educators look for strategies to accommodate different learning styles. This project explores student choice in song selection while integrating the Kodaly Concept to a keyboard curriculum for second grade students. The primary purpose of this project is to compile a body of folk songs using Do, Re, Mi, Fa, and So for teaching beginning group piano students. A secondary purpose is to explore the use of technology and personalized learning in group piano instruction.
