Carding plays an important role in the dry-laid process of nonwoven fabrics,and the raw materials for web-forming are mainly short fibers.The carding machine plays a major role in the carding process.It not only undertakes the front part of the opening process,but also plays a role of further opening and mixing,and also provides a uniform web with a three-dimensional random effect for the subsequent reinforcement process of the nonwoven material.The structural design and parameter configuration of the carding machine not only have a direct impact on the carding speed,yield and carding quality,but also have an important influence on the basic properties of the nonwoven product,especially the mechanical properties.This study is based on the high-speed straight-laid double-combed puncture line introduced by a spunlace production enterprise in Shandong Province.This paper firstly systematically expounds the high-speed straight-laid double-combed spunlace process and equipment,and then uses CAD drawing simulation to study the structural design and working principle of EK150 high-speed random nonwoven carding machine,and analyzes the various components of the carding machine.The component configuration and characteristics and the reason of high-speed combing,the principle of cluttered airflow is analyzed from the perspective of fluid mechanics,and the mechanism of the action of the disordered airflow on the fiber is obtained.The similarities and differences between the carding machine and the"TT"carding machine and the Delta-Sigma carding machine are discussed.The working characteristics of different types of carding machines.Finally,through the performance test of fiber raw materials and products,the effects of two process factors,such as gram weight and raw material ratio,on the mechanical properties of spunlaced nonwovens were analyzed,and the carding machine was applied to high-speed carding of spunlace viscose fibers.The carding effect of three kinds of ordinary spunlace viscose fibers shows that the high-speed spunlace viscose fiber is more suitable for high-speed carding.This study combines the actual production process and a large number of product test data to analyze the structural design,working characteristics and product performance of the carding machine,and mainly draws the following conclusions:(1)EK150 nonwoven carding machine has many changes in the working components and design structure,including precision weighing system,compact design,increased combing unit,reasonable configuration of random components and reduced web drafting.(2)The test data shows that the vertical-to-horizontal strength ratio of the high-speed straight-laid double-combed spunlace line is generally between 3:1 and 4:1,and the product weight is controlled at 30-80 g/m~2.(3)According to the test data of 6 different weights of water stab cloth,as the weight of the spunlace increases,the tensile strength in the direction of MD and CD is also larger,and when the weight is 40g/m~2,pull The tensile strength growth rate increases sharply;when the water stab weight exceeds 40g/m~2,the tensile strength tends to increase linearly;when the water stab weight exceeds50g/m~2,the entanglement coefficient of the spunlace fabric decreases slightly..(4)When the raw material ratio is changed from 50 viscose/50 polyester to 10 viscose/90polyester,the tensile strength in the MD and CD directions of the spunlace cloth increases as the polyester content in the spunlace cloth increases;When the polyester content in the spunlace cloth is more than 90%,the tensile strength and the elongation at break in the CD direction are all reduced.(5)The crimping performance,mechanical tensile properties and electrostatic properties of the spunlace viscose fiber suitable for high-speed carding are significantly different from those of the other three common spunlace viscose fibers,which may be more suitable for high-speed combing.s reason.And the number of flying flowers per unit time is the least in the combing and flying test.
