The efficiency of supply chain is now playing more important function in enterprise competition.How to solve challenge from both customers and suppliers and create advantage in supply chain is main research objective for modern enterprise.T Automotive Corporation is a typical automotive component enterprises,the nature of enterprise determines it’s in the middle part and the role of mediator in the supply chain,under the double pressure from the upstream suppliers and downstream customers.The large number of customers and the product structure is complex,diverse models,so that the company’s production out of scale advantages,into a different size of production form;At the same time the demand fluctuation big customer,frequent changes,which will increase the company’s manufacturing cost and inventory pressure.In this study,author take the T Automotive Corporation inventory management as the research object.Firstly,analysis the company inventory management current situation,serious waste of inventory while still shortage on raw material.Secondly,do analysis for root cause of issue,point out that the supply and demand uncertainty,pushing principle production plan and the lack of supplier inventory management is leading to issue.At last,author provide 3 main suggestion for improvement: improvement on demand forecasting,replace push principle by pull principle and introduction of ABC-XYZ control method,VMI,JIT,join-inventory management. |
