| Traffic is the lifeblood of economic development, and road network accessibility is an effective index to measure the level of traffic development.Road network construction in rural areas is significant to promote urban-rural integration and rural revitalization. This paper takes Shanyang county in Qin-ba mountains areas of Shaanxi province as an example, and takes villages(communities)as the research unit, based on the related theory, mainly using Arc GIS spatial analysis method, from five aspects: the road near, internal connectivity, the equivalent density of road friction, external connection, network impedance as rural road network evaluation, using their equal weighted integration results as the comprehensive analysis result to judge the road network’s spatial distribution pattern and spatial correlation characteristics.Based on the evaluation results of road network accessibility in rural areas, the accessibility zoning is carried out,and the optimization strategies are proposed. The main research contents and conclusions are as follows:(1)Research on sub-evaluation of road network accessibility in rural areas. The administrative villages with gentle terrain in the county area often have strong road proximity and internal connectivity.Administrative villages adjacent to provincial roads, county roads and traffic stations have a strong external connection;Due to the influence of terrain factors, the density level of equivalent roads in most administrative villages is low,and the overall friction impedance level is high.(2)Comprehensive evaluation of road network accessibility in rural areas. The level of road network accessibility in rural areas of Shanyang county is poor on the whole, which has significant spatial clustering characteristics. In the spatial pattern, the "core-periphery" concentric layer structure is high in the north and low in the south, which decreases from high accessibility in the central and northern regions to the periphery. In terms of spatial correlation, there is a strong radiation effect in the adjacent regions, and the radiation effect in the region with low level of accessibility is higher than that in the region with high level of accessibility.(3)Accessibility zoning and optimizing of Shanyang county.According to the evaluation results of road network accessibility in rural areas, four types of areas are divided into high-grade accessibility area,higher-grade accessibility area,lower-grade accessibility area and low-grade accessibility area. The high-grade accessibility area should continue to exert the polar nuclear effect, and the radiation will continue to drive the surrounding area in the future. The higher-grade accessibility area should strengthen the construction of auxiliary roads and the connection between main and secondary roads, and realize the transition from the dendritic road network to the circular road network. The lower-grade road network branch should be added with low accessibility, the external trunk road network construction should be deepened, and the external connection should be strengthened. Most of the low-grade accessibility areas are poor areas with high incidence of poverty, rugged terrain and traffic congestion. On the basis of ensuring the production and living of residents, the construction of low-grade road network should be improved and external contact should be gradually strengthened. For the villages with more concentrated settlements and more population, the connection between the basic road network and the main road should be strengthened. For villages with large topographical resistance, few population and extremely scattered settlements,it should be carried out to move villages and relocate. |
