Research On The Logistics Capability Evaluation Of Guangxi Beibu Gulf Port Based On Improved PCA-GRA

The development of modern logistics requires the port to transform into a multi-functional,comprehensive and modern international comprehensive port.While the development strategy of port logistics is changing,there are many problems in the development of domestic port.Addressing these situations requires a comprehensive measurement of the port’s logistics capabilities.At present,research on port logistics capability of beibu gulf mainly focuses on the comparative price within the port,but lacks the comparative research from the perspective of the national port.Port logistics ability as the core essential factor of port competitiveness,the objective and reasonable evaluation,can specific draw in Guangxi beibu gulf port logistics capability in many ports in a horizontal position,the ability to own port orientation have a clear understanding of,can be advantageous to develop targeted port competitive strategy,at the same time better drive the prosperity of port hinterland economy.Build on the current situation of beibu gulf,this paper constructs the evaluation index system of beibu gulf port logistics capability,and establishes the improved PCA-GRA port logistics capability evaluation model to evaluate port logistics capability of beibu gulf port and other ports.Through the comparison of the evaluation results,give measures to enhance the logistics capacity of beibu gulf port.The research contents of this paper mainly include:(1)To construct the evaluation indexed system of port logistics capability of beibu gulf.Based on the current situation of the beibu gulf port in Guangxi and the related research on port logistics capability evaluation,the indicators are selected from the three aspects of port logistics scale capacity,operation capacity and economic development capacity,and the index system is preliminaries determined.(2)Set up an evaluation model of port logistics capability of beibu gulf based on improved PCA-GRA.The principal component analysis method is utilized to screen the indicators to determine the final evaluation index system of the port’s logistics capability.Each index is objectively weighted by the entropy method,and finally combined with the gray correlation method for evaluation.(3)The countermeasures to improve the logistics capacity of beibu gulf port are given.Based on the analysis of the evaluation results of this paper,some concrete Suggestions are put forward to improve the logistics capacity of beibu gulf port in Guangxi.The research conclusions of this paper mainly include:(1)Beibu gulf port is in the middle level among the seven ports in logistics capacity evaluation,and its logistics capacity has shown positive growth in the past five years.(2)Compared with other port logistics capability,the beibu gulf port development there are some problems: the container throughput is not enough to meet the demand of port logistics,shipping cover ability is weak,the ability to export trade and port hinterland economy is not outstanding,the beibu gulf port economic ability and other ports appear a certain gap.(3)In the end,according to the analysis of the evaluation,some specific measures are proposed,such as:further strengthen the construction of port supporting infrastructure,improve the port collection and distribution network;optimize the port industrial structure,expand the trade market,expand the trade of export goods,narrow the difference with the port group,expand the trade development mode in a variety of ways;strengthen the cooperation and development between beibu gulf port and direct economic hinterland and indirect economic hinterland.
