Research On The Rationality Of Construction Industrialization Level From The Perspective Of Labor Shortage In The Construction Industry

Since the reform and opening up,China’s construction industry has developed rapidly.It has made significant contributions to economic development,and become a pillar industry in China.The construction industry is still a labor-intensive industry at this stage,and its development still requires a large amount of labor.However,the construction industry has already experienced a labor shortage.The shortage of labor will cause a series of negative effects on the construction industry and hinder the sustainable and healthy development of the construction industry.In the context of sustainable development,the Chinese government advocates the vigorous development of construction industrialization and puts forward a series of development indicators.The industrialization of construction is also considered by many scholars and experts to fundamentally solve the problem of labor shortage.Whether the current planning level of construction industrialization in China can solve the problem of labor shortage in the construction industry,there is a lack of detailed research in both theory and practice.For the planning of the level of construction industrialization,there is a lack of guiding theory and practical experience,which makes it impossible to accurately determine whether the level of construction industrialization in China is reasonable.Therefore,this article analyzes and studies the rationality of the planning level of China’s construction industrialization from the perspective of labor shortage.Firstly,this paper combines the existing research theories and takes the construction industrialization as a means to solve the problem of labor supply and demand gap in the construction industry.Two analysis models were established for the rationality of the construction industrialization planning level in the country and some regions.Secondly,by analyzing the national statistical data over the years,this study used the gray prediction model GM(1,1)and power function regression prediction model to analyze and calculate the influencing factors of the future labor supply and demand trend of the construction industry.The future supply and demand gap of construction labor was obtained.Finally,based on the value of the future labor supply and demand gap in the construction industry,the level of construction industrialization needed to solve this gap was obtained.The rationality of the level of construction industrialization planning in 2020 across the country and these five developed areas of the construction industry in Beijing,Shanghai,Tianjin,Zhejiang,and Jiangsu was analyzed.The results show that if the construction industry maintains the current level of construction industrialization,the gap between the supply and demand of labor in the construction industry will increase in the future.although the planning level of the national construction industrialization is lower than the demand level,it is basically close,so the planning of the national construction industrialization level is basically reasonable.The construction industrialization plans of Beijing,Tianjin,and Shanghai have reached the level of demand,but neither Zhejiang nor Jiangsu has reached the level of demand,which may have an impact on the solution of labor shortage.From the perspective of solving the labor shortage problem in construction industry,this paper analyzes whether the planning level of construction industrialization is reasonable,and hopes to provide theoretical support for the future development planning of construction industrialization.
