Research On The Spatial Pattern Of Historic Landscape In Ningxia From The Perspective Of Chinese Landscape Culture

It has been controversial that whether the development model of western landscape architecture is suitable for China.In addition,great changes are taking place in contemporary landscape architecture all over the world.In order to achieve innovation on the basis of inheriting traditional Chinese garden culture,we need to study the spatial characteristics of historical landscape architecture in various regions of China.The research on Ningxia historical landscape architecture was very weak was found during my participation in the research and write of the Ningxia part of the book named The History of Chinese Landscape Architecture(Northwest Volume).Its contemporary landscape architecture activities lack indigenous characteristics.Many of its iconic features are gone.It is the regret of Ningxia landscape architecture system.The importantest reason for this is that no one has studied Ningxia historic landscape architecture in depth,so people have low understanding of its spatial characteristics of the historic landscape architecture in Ningxia.Therefore,this paper tries to discuss the spatial pattern characteristics of historic landscape architecture in Ningxia from the perspective of Chinese landscape culture.This study mainly adopts four research methods: literature research,field research and graphic research,illustration analysis and comparative verification.The following three aspects are studied:(1)defining Ningxia historic landscape architecture,summarizing the spatial characteristics of Ningxia historical landscape architecture through studying the spatial pattern of different types of cases.(2)analyze the development of cultural context in Ningxia history,explore the cultural causes of the formation of spatial pattern characteristics of Ningxia historical landscape architecture.(3)analyzes the status of Ningxia historical landscape architecture in northwest China’s landscape architecture system,and discusses its regional characteristics and artistic uniqueness.Through research,we get four conclusions:(1)The definition of Ningxia historic landscape architecture.Ningxia historic landscape architecture is built in historical period and in the contemporary have remains or description of the landscape architecture space beings effective information,has certain value of landscape architecture art,to express the Ningxia history landscape architecture construction characteristics of the artificial landscape construction works.(2)The conclusion of development context and cultural motivation of historic landscape architecture in Ningxia: it has been destroyed,regenerated and developed in the process of regime change,and under the influence of cultural dissemination and border defense campaigns,it has developed in a diversified and characteristic way.(3)The spatial types and characteristics of historic landscape architecture in Ningxia are divided into plain type and mountain type.In addition,according to the spatial location relationship between the case and the landscape,it is subdivided into 8 categories,and five representative spatial types are selected for a typical study,and the spatial pattern characteristics of each subcategory are discussed from six spatial components.(4)To summarize the spatial pattern of historic landscape architecture in Ningxia.That is,"mountain" is the most important factor in the spatial construction of historic landscape architecture in Ningxia.Plain type based on distant mountains,mountain type based on terrain.
