Since the reform and opening up,education has increasingly become a major concern of the country and people.Since the 18 th CPC national congress,the CPC central committee with Comrade Xi Jinping at its core has given priority to education.Primary school education,as the foundation of education,plays an enlightening role in the development of children’s life.With the improvement of people’s living standard and the increasingly rich material culture,the teaching environment has been paid more and more attention.The research shows that a good learning environment plays an important and decisive role in the psychological development of children and affects the cognitive,emotional and social development of students.And with the development of children’s physical function,the environment has more and more influence on children’s development.In the primary school park,the classroom is the core place in the teaching process.With the continuous implementation of national quality-oriented education,the indoor teaching space originally built for "exam-oriented education" in accordance with the teaching mode of "class scheduling" is no longer suitable for and meets the requirements of the new teaching mode.Through careful planning and design,create a lively,warm,rich and novel indoor teaching space for primary school students,which is very important to improve students’ concentration and efficient learning.This paper takes primary school interior teaching space design as the research object,and child psychology as the basic theory.Through the study of children’s psychological characteristics in primary school,the paper analyzes the significance of environment to children’s psychological development,and creates an indoor teaching space environment suitable for children’s physical and mental development.This paper is divided into four parts: the first chapter is the introduction,which is thepremise of this research,respectively the research background,research purpose and significance,research status analysis at home and abroad,research content and methods,and innovation points.The second part is chapter two and chapter three.Firstly,it discusses the theory of child psychology and its relationship with the indoor teaching space of primary school.Based on the definition of children’s age and social status,and the research on the theory of child psychology,the process of children’s psychological development in primary school is extracted,and the significance of environment to children’s psychological development is summarized.It further analyzes the influence and value of child psychology on the interior teaching space of primary school,and further demonstrates the importance of introducing the theory of child psychology into the interior teaching space design of primary school.Following the research on the design of primary school interior teaching space,the development process of primary school interior teaching space is summarized first,and the factors that influence its development are extracted,and the design of primary school interior teaching space under the main teaching concept of contemporary society is analyzed and studied.Then it analyzes the national setting regulations and the characteristics of all kinds of indoor teaching Spaces in primary schools.Through the field investigation of the existing primary schools in this region,the current situation of indoor teaching space design in use is understood,and the deficiencies are summarized,which will be of practical significance for the design practice and transformation in the future.The third part is the fourth chapter.Based on the theory of child psychology,the design of interior teaching space in primary school is analyzed.First,the basic characteristics of primary school children are analyzed,and then the spatial layout,environmental factors and safety that influence the space design are analyzed and studied.Then,the strategies for the intervention of child psychology in the interior teaching space design of primary school are proposed.The fourth part is the fifth chapter of the article.Through design practice,the theoretical results of the previous research are applied to the scheme to create a teaching environment suitable for the physical and mental development of children.
