With the rapid development of today’s economy,the cultural and creative industry has gradually emerged and has become an emerging sunrise industry in the 21 st century,with great potential and room for development.The Chinese nation has a vast territory and a long history.After thousands of years,it has inherited a broad and profound national culture.Different regional cultures exist in local production and life.After long-term development,they have formed their own cultural characteristics and become an important basis for the development of my country’s cultural and creative industry.Nowadays,the research on regional culture is getting deeper and deeper,combining regional culture with local tourism industry,transforming regional culture into cultural industry,attracting consumers as a local characteristic,and promoting the transformation,upgrading and development of local economy.Jining,as a historical and cultural city prospered by the canal,is an important city that flows through the waterway of the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal.During the development process,it has formed a unique and distinctive regional culture and produced a rich and diverse canal cultural heritage.On the basis of the successful application of the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal,the booming tourism industry,the improvement of people’s living standards and aesthetic awareness,the cultural connotation of the Jining Grand Canal has been explored,and the Canal cultural and creative products with Jining regional characteristics have been innovated to make it compatible with modern economic The integration of social development will realize the inheritance and development of Jining Canal culture.This article systematically discusses the formation,characteristics and value of Jining Grand Canal culture,detailed the composition of the canal cultural heritage,combined with the role of cultural and creative products in the cultural development of Jining Grand Canal,and conducts design practice on Jining Canal cultural and creative products.Based on research and analysis,grasp the design positioning of Jining Canal’s cultural and creative products,extract the corresponding canal cultural design elements,and explore the relationship and interaction between regional cultural transmission and economic development through design.
