Study On Risk Management Of EPC Project Of Water Conservancy Design Institute

EPC project general contracting mode is a kind of project contracting mode gradually popularized in China in recent decades.Especially in the operation of transnational large-scale engineering projects,EPC project general contracting mode has significant advantages.EPC contract mode in foreign countries has developed quite maturely,and the management of each link of the project has rich theory and practical experience.As a part of its project management operation,risk management has a development level far higher than that of engineering projects in China.With more and more transnational engineering projects,more and more investment,and more and more complex engineering technologies in China,the risk factors of this type of project increase significantly,and the development of risk management also starts gradually.As a new project management model,EPC project general contracting model is different from traditional project management model in risk management.This article is mainly in EPC project general contracting mode,the characteristics of the engineering construction in accordance with the process from the project management in the early stage to the project implementation stage in the project completion acceptance stage of each cycle,the corresponding risk identification,assessment,monitoring,treatment research.Domestic engineering has little establishment of EPC risk management system and lack of risk management practice for EPC projects.Therefore,it is necessary to strengthen the risk management of EPC project to ensure the smooth construction of the project.Combined with their experience and participate in the actual engineering project,collect and analyze project research,a large number of practical information through the use of the risk management theory knowledge and the establishment of risk management system according to the actual circumstance of engineering risk recognition and initial risk management plan formulation and implementation of the project risk control and risk response.Finally,this paper aims to enhance the experience of risk management for the EPC project general contracting contracted by the Hydraulic Design Institute in the future,and to provide some basis for risk control and treatment in the future.
