In order to improve the performance of base asphalt by using rubber powder,a new type of rubber asphalt binder was developed through reasonable composition design and optimization of synthesis process,the molecular structure and molecular weight of the new rubber asphalt linker were studied by Ir and GPC,and the new rubber asphalt linker was blended with rubber powder and asphalt,the rubber asphalt containing a new type of binder is prepared,and then blended with aggregate and Filler to prepare the rubber asphalt mixture.By testing penetration,softening point,ductility,viscosity and elastic recovery of rubber asphalt,the influence of the linker on the road performance of rubber asphalt was studied The influence of the bonding agent on the pavement performance of rubber asphalt mixture was studied by testing its dynamic stability,immersion residual stability,freeze-thaw cracking strength ratio and low temperature failure strain.The microstructure of the new rubber asphalt linker shows that the linker is mainly composed of benzene ring,saturated carbon chain,unsaturated carbon chain and amide group.The test results of road performance of rubber asphalt and its mixture show that the new type of rubber asphalt binder can significantly enhance the modified effect of rubber powder on the road performance of matrix asphalt and its mixture,this is mainly because the unsaturated double bonds and amide groups in the rubber asphalt linker have strong reactivity,which leads to the copolymerization and cross-linking of rubber particles and asphalt,forming the network structure of ring-and chain-shaped polymers,thus,the road performance of rubber asphalt and its mixture can be improved remarkably.Based on the construction of asphalt pavement of Lin County,Shanxi-lishi Expressway,this paper completed the test section of rubber asphalt,proposed the construction quality control parameters of rubber asphalt pavement,and analyzed the social and economic benefits of rubber asphalt used in expressway construction.The results show that the pavement performance of the rubber asphalt pavement with the new type of binder fully meets the requirements of the design code,and not only realizes the efficient utilization of the waste tire solid waste in the road engineering,the service life of asphalt pavement isprolonged,the cost of highway construction and maintenance is reduced remarkably,and the social and economic benefit is remarkable.
